ok here is my story. i had my period in spetember from the 22-24th which was lighter than normal, in october i had it on the 24th which was four days late and only lasted one day. i haven't had a period this month yet but i have been tired all the time, been getting headaches, the skina round my nipples has gotten really dark, my breast are tender to the touch expecially around the nipples, i have been sick to my stomach everyday for the last couple of weeks i am trying to figure out when my period should come this month and when i should take a pregnancy test....can anyone help me? serious answers please!!!!

How Soon Should I Test to See If I Am Pregnant?
Home pregnancy test kits are designed to detect levels of hCG produced by your body if you are pregnant. Your body may be producing hCG before your period is due, however it is ideal to test on the first day of your missed period. If you were to test earlier than the first day of your missed period, the result may be incorrect. It may show a negative result if your hCG levels are not yet high enough to detect the pregnancy, or it may show a positive result and not develop into a true pregnancy due to the incidence of spontaneous abortions, which can occur before your period is due.
The pregnancy hormone hCG is usually at it’s highest levels early in the morning, so especially if you are early in your pregnancy, this is when it is the best time to test. It is important to note that excessive fluid intake before taking the pregnancy test can actually dilute hCG and this can make the result hard to read.
Since you are unsure, I would use a baseline of 28 days for your cycle. Tomorrow would be the first day of your expected period. At that point, if you do not get it, I would test on the morning of the 22nd. If you receive a negative result. I would wait another week and test again since you are unsure of what your cycle acutally is.
Otherwise, some experts say to wait 14 days after your last sexual encounter and then test since pregnancy implantation has already occured at this time.

You can buy an early result pregnancy test, which lets you test BEFORE you miss a period. I would say due probably around the 24th of this month it would come. It's possible you're pregnant, but honestly a lot of women get paranoid they are pregnant and THINK they feel all those things. I did it once, and it was even AFTER I had my first pregnancy. Go grab a test (don't skimp out, buy a good one that says early result) and then you'll know! I would say if that one comes out negative and you still swear you feel all those things after a week to go retest about the 27th or 28th. Good Luck!

It's not too early to test. In fact, most pg. tests can pick up the hormone within a couple of weeks. ~ And it really does sound like you might be pg. Just be calm and responsible if it is positive. Children are the greatest miracle in the world. I've been there!

It isn't too early to take a test now. And if it is negative, you may want to make an appt w/ your ob/gyn. Just to make sure that you are okay. It may help to make notes of all your symptomes and tell your doctor what is going on. Good luck to you.

Take a test. Its not too early. Unless your normally regular with your period Id say its possible your pregnant.

i think you can take a test now. there is such a thing as a last period. but if it has been at least three months then go ahead and have the test done.

22 would be the day you should get your period. however take the first responce test you can take it 5 days earlier that way. good luck.
