My 9 month old daughter has 4 teeth, and is cutting more, but i was just wondering what the safety guidelines were for giving her turkey on thanksigiving?

My baby girl discovered her thumb a couple of weeks ago and just loves it. Will this be a problem later on? She does this mostly to fall asleep. She's been sleeping through the night for the past week now, even getting up at 9:00 this morning. Any thoughts?

How do you potty train a little boy? I have tried sitting him on the pot but he jsut screams and wants to get up. Does the potties with all of the bells and wistles really help more than a normal one?

well, i went to the hosptail because i thought i was preg. but come to find out i wasnt..my mom was so happy && The goin to be dad was happy. now i feel like i have let everybody down how do i get preg. i want a kid & so does my family. plz help me

I just turned 22 and have a 2yr old son. Yes, I am a single parent but I have a strong urge to adopt a playmate for my son. I have already talked to my mother about it and she says its a good idea. But I would like to get other opinions. Do you think its wise for a young, single parent to adopt a child? I do plan on getting married in the future.

My son is 11 months old and for the last few months he has been waking up 3 or more times a night. Yeah I give him a bottle to get him back to sleep even though he eats like a champ so I'm pretty sure he's not hungry. What's the best way to handle this?

I do not have the average cycle lately. It is 49-50 days.
How would I know when it is O.K. to test with a HPT? My cycle used to be normal. So would I have to wait a total of 49-50 days from when my cycle started to test?

My son was just prescribed antibiotics to treat ear infection. He, however, has NO symptoms ... no fever, no runny nose, no loss of appetite, no general discomfort or fussiness, no pulling on his ears... In fact, the only reason we went to the doctor was for his 9-month well-baby check up. I am reluctant to start him on antibiotics this early, and from what I looked up online, he really doesn’t need them -- the condition can resolve on its own. Do you have any experience in a similar situation? Please advise.

I've been having problems with my 4 year old boy for about a month now. He has really been acting up at daycare and I just can't figure it out. The ladies at daycare say that he is a really good boy for the most part, but when he gets a time-out, he turns into a monster. He kicks and screams like crazy! I called today to check in on him and he was in time-out. I could hear him through the phone! His teacher put him on the phone and I told him to calm down and sit in time out like a good boy. I just don't know what to do. We've tried taking things away..time outs at home are never like they are at daycare. At home, he sits quietly until I tell him he can get up. What else can I do? I've told him that the best thing to do is just to be good so that he doesn't get time-out. I work an hour from home, so I can't just drop in and check on him during the day. Please help!! He's normally such a good boy, I just don't get it.

I have a 4yr old son who walks around saying booty all day long.Any question you ask he rsponds booty or fat booty. what's horrible is the other day we where inline at the grocery store and he said that the lady in front of us has a big booty. his father and i have disiplined him on theses actions, repeatedlt asked him to stop. Basically i,ve just had the scare of my life when my partner told me she might be pregnant while i was abroad, she told me she missed her period by quite a few days , she was on the pill for many months and we had unprotected sex constantly .She took a pregnancy test and it was positive and she said that if she is ,she would be 4 weeks plus,so i flew back straight away to be with her.We were gonna go to the doctor but we chose to have do another test to make sure.It was negative, so we thought she does,nt need to go.Since then i have looked up on pregnancy,tests etc... and i,m getting second thoughts that she might be pregnant even though the test was negative as sometimes they are not accurate, she has gone home to spain for 3 months but i have this feeling that she might be pregnant. What to do?
