Absolutely! If she's already been introduced to the meats I don't see the problem. If she eats her food pureed then make sure you puree the turkey before you give it to her. Add some veggies to the puree too, to make it more yummy for her. If she's eating table food, just make sure it's cut up small enough for her to feed herself. Usually cubed is best.

Also, babies don't use their teeth to eat until they get their molars, so even if she didn't have teeth it would be okay. My little sister didn't cut her first tooth until she was 18 months old. She would gum the heck out of the turkey and other stuff we gave her. It was so funny and cute!

In my family we give the baby's a Turkey Leg Bone to naw on. It must be a good size bone so they can't get the hole thing in the mouth and you need to clean it all of the meat and every thing off. While baby has the bone you must keep a very very very close eye on baby.
This was done with me when I was baby, my soon to be 7 year old and my 4 1/2 month old will get one this year.

Please do not look on me for this. If done properly there is no harm to the baby.

Sure! My 7 mo daughter has 4 teeth and she eats tiny bits of toast, waffles, banana, ripe cantaloupe, so I'm excited about her first Thanksgiving dinner! Cut the turkey into the smallest of pieces, or if you're very concerned, grind it into a food processor and spoon feed her.

Have you been giving her table food already? If so then I don't see why not as long as you cut it up into smaller peices and make sure you are with her to make sure she don't choke. My daughter is 11 months and she has been eating table food for at least 7 onths now.She eats chicken, turkey, and just about anything she can get her hands on.

I wouldn't recommend it if she only has 4 teeth. My neice started cutting teeth at 2 months and now (at 13 months) has every tooth except her 2 year molars. I would stick to baby food turkey and rice or something or ask your doctor.

Definitely, as long as you watch how big the pieces are. Your baby will love the taste and texture. Stuffing, that doesn't have large vegetables was also a favorite for my son. The only bad thing is all of the new food and spices might cause diarrhea so be prepared.

Yes! La Leche League recommends meat as a first food because babies need zinc and iron. If your baby eats pureed food only then you can puree it, otherwise I would just cut it into bite sized pieces and let her feed herself. (With her fingers, probably). I wouldn't give her a whole piece uncut because it is stringy and that might be hard to deal with.

Put the turkey through a blender and you can give it to your daughter, Turkey is very stringy and she could chock on it. I have raised 4 children and am enjoying grandchildren now.
Please be very careful when giving meat to a small toddler.

Yes, it would be fine to give her turkey - and if she has trouble with lumps, then you can puree it with a little water. There are some more Thanksgiving ideas for your baby here - http://www.homemade-baby-food-recipes.com/200611.html#e57
