She's two months--she's going to tell you when she's hungy.

1) She's going through a growth spurt--you'll find that there will times that she always wants to eat, and she's cranky from not sleeping. Then all of a sudden she'll sleep nonstop.

2) She's 2 months old--she still needs a bottle every 3 hours. She will learn to sleep through the night eventually, but don't cut her bottle down because you want to sleep more. She's eating like she needs to eat right now.

DO NOT PUT RICE CEREAL IN HER BOTTLE! She's too young, and it will increase weight but not teach her WHY she's getting bigger. When she is given the go-ahead from the doctor, give her a cup of rice cereal, but NEVER put it in her bottle.

Try giving her a little more in her last bottle before bed and see if she will take it. She might be going through a growth spurt and need more milk. Don't give cereal yet...she's too young. My mom used to wake us up and give us a bottle with cereal in it at 3 weeks old and 3 out of 4 of us kids have weight problems and diabetes...never force a baby/child to eat if they are not hungry.

My son is almost 6 months old and has been sleeping all night since he was 2 weeks old! I started feeding him oatmeal with a spoon early so that when it came time to feed him baby food it wouldnt be as hard for him! I mixed the oatmean with is formula and made it kinda thick! And let him drink the remainder of the formula between bites! He does so good with it! He sleeps from 7:30pm until 6:00am! He is eating baby food now and doing great! If she doesnt like it in a spoon than try putting oatmeal in her bottle! It makes it thicker and hold them up longer than just feeding them regular formula! I hopes this helps you!

This is normal for a baby at that age. Don't worry, this will pass. One night you'll get a full night's sleep, and you'll wake up and rush in wondering what's wrong. You'll find her still sleeping, or maybe playing, and you'll think "wow - it really happens like that!"

Try giving her a little rice cereal in a bottle like one or two table spoons. you may need to make the nipple a little bigger. But its worth it she should start sleeping longer stretches in the next few weeks for you and should get up only once or twice by 16 weeks. It really does get better so hang in there sweetie . it just takes time for their little brains to catch up with their ability to learn how to sleep..Good Luck from a very tired Mom once like yourself.
