I had a miscarraige in feb and got preggy again in april, because of this miscarraige I go to doc often, atleast once every 2-3 weeks scared something will happen. I just asked a few questions here that made me really think about going back (pressure low down and pains and discharge) but i was just at docs last week and all that was going on was change in cervix (35 weeks preggy today) and have another appoinment in one week. Should i just wait unless its severe pain because baby will probably be o.k. I dont want doc to think Im a hypo, Im just scared.

Well, at that stage, you should be going either once a week or every other week, anyway.

Rest assured that at 35 weeks, even if born, your child will be fine. Mine was born at 28 weeks and is eight years old now.

In just a few weeks from now, you will have your beloved child in your arms, and a whole new set of worries. Hormones make you strange in pregnancy, at least it was that way for me.

Congrats, relax, just try and imagine the child when he/she has arrived.

I know exactly how you feel. I had a miscarriage in June and wound up pg again just 3 wks later. I've been scared to death about this baby since. This is my 6th pg and I still have gone into or called my midwife several times for things you would think I would know about already. But loosing a child is very hard and it makes your mind work over time when your having another that the same thing could happen again. I'm almost 21wks. You are past the worry time. If your baby is born at any time now he/she will be just fine. I had two at almost 37 wks and they were fine, just a little jaundiced. Relax, your in the home stretch! Wish I was there already. :)

At this point you should be going every two weeks or every week. Being nervous is a part of pregnancy...you are not a hypo...you just really love this child. Who cares if he thinks you are a hypo...who is he to tell you anything?? YOu love this child, and checking up on him is just fine!!! Please do know that...at 35 weeks, if you have this baby, he will be just fine!!! YOu are far enough along...alot of women have babies earlier than 35 weeks, and thier babies are wonderful!!! Try to relax as much as you can!!! Dont be afraid to call your doctor!!!

I wish you all the luck during your delivery!!! I am 19 weeks...and cannot wait!!!! Have fun and enjoy holding your new baby!!!

Multiple appointments are not a sign of an addiction, you are just being cautious. You shouldn't be afraid of what the doctor thinks of you, it is your offspring that you are worried about. Even animals are protective of their children. It's completely natural. I'm sorry if every appointment is a sterile affair and it seems no one cares about you and your baby. But you do, so it's worth doing. Just be positive and motivated.

Call the doctor and tell him what's going on with you or maybe you can sit and wait for severe pain to come.
