Pregnancy & Parenting - 28 October 2006

My boys, i was sick all the time, very very tired. Couldnt stand the smell of smoke or anyother smell for that matter.
Im now 7 weeks pregnant, already starting to get a lump in my tummy, I havent thrown up once, and im really not that tired! I actually quit smoking but not because of the smell....Something in this pregnancy is wayyyyy different. What could it be? think its a girl? :) That'd be alright :) What did you guys have and how did they differ from boy to girl? Thanks so much!!

ok so u have sex 2 weeks before ur expected start date, she feels pregnant but she started her period, she heard that even though she started her period she could possiably be pregnant still. is this possiable??

Somebody told me that miscarraige of your first pregnancy is higher than any other pregnancies. Has anyone heard this? I lost my first baby at 9 weeks and we are trying again. It would give me peace of mind if it's a lower risk this second time around.

I love Bonfire Night (Nov 5th) and I really want to go to a display this year - I've begged by BF (a barman) to get the night off so we can go to one.

Trouble is I'll be 36 weeks pregnant (with my first child) on Nov 5th and BF refuses to take me to a display as he says he's worried all the noise, excitement, loud bangs, standing outside in the cold for hours etc might send me into labour.

Is he overreacting?

In the prosses of looking out for my two little grandchildren(1 1/2yr old and 2 1/2yr old),,I had witnessed my daughter abuseing her babies in a very bad physical way,,so I reported her to child protective services,,after confronting my daughter the dangers of the physical strain on these innocent children.(There was an open case on her to begin with)
And because she is very upset with me she threatened to hurt me so I put a Protection From Abuse on her .which in the past she has assulted me before,,and I let it slide.I feel so confused at this moment,,because if I had of turned my head the other way with my grandchildren,,,I feel as though I would have been no better then my daughter,,,yet at the sametime ,,my heart is with heavy weight,,,because my daughter is so angry with me and wishes me dead.Do not know if I was a bad mom for even getting involved or what would have happened if I did not?.

I think my daughter who is seven and a half weeks is sick, she does not have a fever but is coughing a lot and when she coughs it sounds like their is mucus coming up, any tips on how to make her healthy or remedies which might bring her cold down, also how seirous is it when a baby at her age catches something?

i been on the birth control patch for about 2 years i just took it off on the 8 of this mouth and got my period on the 12, my period was normal last for 5 days. As soon as my period was finish me and my husband started to have unprotected sex.i have been feeling a little funny my stomach feels like s*** i have no tender nipples and i feel fine in the morning,I started to feel funny after i had unprotected sex, i went to www.my monthly cycle and it said that i ovulate on the 26 we had sex on that day . My Question is can i be pregnant? and how long will it take for me to become pregnant since i just came off the birth control patch? please help Thank you.

I was just wondering why people have such an issue with girls 15+ having children? I have a lot of young mothers as friends and they don't live with their parents or live off the government. I was just very curious because really if it doesn’t affect you why do people care? Why do young mothers get looks as if they have done something incredibly wrong? Why are they taken pity on even if they did want the pregnancy? Why are they considered sluts? And last but not least--why are they automatically considered bad parents?

break my child from being so attached? She is five and just started kindergarten. I also have a ten year old. Am I out of the clearing basically? I am just passing my 13th week as of yesterday and I am just wondering if I am basically out of any harm or misscarriage. I just had like my 4th ultrasound on the 11th and so far so good the baby is healthy and I am doing good. I do smoke and havent been able to fully wuit yet but the doctor said as long as I did cut down I should be ok. So what is your opinion? After this point it would be a very noticable misscarriage with blood and everything right? It isnt like I could STILL misscarry without noticing? Im just worried because I am a new mother.
