My boys, i was sick all the time, very very tired. Couldnt stand the smell of smoke or anyother smell for that matter.
Im now 7 weeks pregnant, already starting to get a lump in my tummy, I havent thrown up once, and im really not that tired! I actually quit smoking but not because of the smell....Something in this pregnancy is wayyyyy different. What could it be? think its a girl? :) That'd be alright :) What did you guys have and how did they differ from boy to girl? Thanks so much!!

well, I have only one son, no others. But....when I was pregnant with him, I didn't get morning sickness until I was about 7-8 months pregnant, the smell,(or sight,) of chicken sent me over the edge with nausea, I didn't start to show until 7 months along, and so forth. OH! And I had to sleep with tums under my pillow, (straight costco size!) and walk around with three different kinds of it in my jacket pocket. But, the differences could be many things. The fact that you quit smoking, I am sure, has a big influence about how your baby will grow, and react. Not to mention the fact, every pregnancy is different from the one before it! Even if it is minor ways, your first two were different.

With both of my sons I was so sick, I actually lost quite a bit of weight. With my daughter, I was naseus all the time, but did not throw up as much. With my 1st boy I could not eat enough meat and potatoes. My daughter all I wanted was salad and junk food (Choc. cake was my best friend) and with my other son, I ate anything! Stuff I never wanted to try before, I was craving. It is amazing in what it does to your body- and each time it is unique. See your Dr. for any concerns, but enjoy- the pregnancies are all special and unique, just like the baby you are growing. And by the way, good for you, quitting smoking. What a great gift you have given your baby! (and yourself!) Take care!

All pregnancies are different. Some say the sex of the child can also affect how sick you are. But things such as how much energy you have, weight gain, food choices, breaking out, how big you get and where you gain weight at call all be different with each child. If you are 7weeks dont worry so much about gaining weight yet. It will come.

I was sick with both my boys throught the entire pregnancy. With my daughter, who was a complete suprise I was only sick for the first month or so. Then it was amazing, I was rarely tired, I could do all kinds of stuff I rarely had the energy for before. With my boys only certain smells made me sick, with my daughter it was almost anything. It's amazing the differences in pregnancies.

Yeah usually the prenancies are different and yeah it could be a gender issue, but also the fact you stopped smoking and how much stress your under. if you have alot of stress then you will be sick if not that much then ytour more relaxed.
