My 13 month old daughter is starting daycare in a week. The daycare said that they would be happy to use her cloth diapers. However, I don't know what I can buy for them to store the soiled diapers. I'm looking for something that is compact and more importantly won't smell up the whole daycare. Any suggestions would be great!

This is my first pregnancy and I was wondering, should I be able to feel where the head and other parts are this far along? My belly isn't very big either, and it seems like I should be able to feel EVERY part of him. People say I look like I'm only 5months or so, but I'm almost 31wks!!! It's worrying me a little. Should I be able to feel the weight of an almost 3pnd baby in there too, or does the fluid kinda distribute the weight? I'm not overweight, and it seems like he's right there under my skin, so does that mean that he's too small right now, and that my uterus isn't growing right? Doctor said at my last appt. everything was measuring fine, but still ordered another ultrasound to ease my mind. It's hard not to worry!

My four yr old son didn't do anything last year for halloween.I bought him a superman costume but he refused to put it on.I tried to put it on him but he started crying hysterically.I have asked him if he wants to go trick or treating this year and everytime I mention it he starts crying. Is this normal? I think he is just scared because the last time we went he was fine, maybe its the dark.I don't know. has anyone else had this happen and if so what alternatives are there?

I did not ovulate 14 after my first period started, it was a few days over-due because I took a ovulation test.

To be exact I got my period on the 2nd of October
and ovulated on the 18th of October.

And Im waiting for the day my period is suppose to be due so that I can take a pregnancy test. Im mainly trying to find out when my period will come.

This maybe too confusing lol.

I have already bought her a present, which happens to be a toy that she asked for. Today I find out from her mom that a couple of weeks ago my niece lied to her father, so as her punishment she would not get any toys for her birthday. Now my problem is why couldn't they call me and tell me this. I'm am the notorious toy-giver in my family. Today is a particularly nasty day on the east coast so I have no intention to take out my son to buy another gift. My question is should I give her the toy or just cut the 5yr old a check as a birthday present?

I don't believe that. I think there were always kids who started having sex when they were 11-13, only now they are less ashamed to admit it.

Caring or over protective?
r my parents over protective

(im the youngest child, i have read Q/A and it seems that the yougest child is always over protected)

im a 13 year old male my parents never let me have friends over, they never let me go outside of my block, they might not even let me go trick or treating with my friend or let me go at all cause my mom is at work that day. they never let me have friends that are a girl, once a girl called cause she wanted help on her homwork (math she is bad at it and im am good at it) and my dad was lisning on the other phone so i started messing aroud and told her to make my dad angry and we started "flirting". and he got sooo mad. back to the point,

i feel that the more over protective they r the more i do stuff like lie. for example i thinking of getting a couple friends over and egg the kid we hate house. and i always wait till my mom goes to work and sneak in the movies and once i got caught by a cop and ran.

I'm not a parent, but I'd like to get parents' opinions on this. My nephew just turned 5 and for the past year he's been trying to get a look down my shirt. He doesn't do it all the time, just once in a while. He's always snuggling up to me and trying to sit on my lap, which I love because he's such a sweet little boy. I don't even see it coming because he doesn't do it every time. And, I'm not wearing low-cut or tight tops, just a crew neck top or a sweater. I'll say "Hey! Don't do that!" and my sister-in-law will hear me and then scold him. What specifically should I say to him? Is there any way I can get him to stop?

Yesterday we went for a long walk and it was pretty warm I had him covered from the son in the stroller, but later on in the day I noticed his left cheek all of a sudden got really bright red. and he seems okay but I also noticed he is growing about 4 teeth on his top gum, so I am wondering if anybody has had this before... could it be he red cause he is teething or cause of the heat... this morning it is still red.

Alright, my little angel has just started crawling forward. Literally when I say just ... I mean four days. And then yesterday I kept catching her pulling herself up onto her feet.
So far she has conquered the coffee table, the changing table, the couch and her crib. So its not a fluke.
When she started crawling...she started waking up in the middle of the night STARVING. So I would give her a bottle. Now she is up twice...STARVING. Should I increase her food during the day? Do all babys do this when htey learn a new talent? Is this a normal age for little ones to be pulling themselves up? I am very confused.
She was sleeping through the night...twelve hours....and has been doing that since about 4 months. At 8 weeks she was sleeping 8 hours. So I am very confused. She is a great sleeper until recently.
Thank you in advance for any advice.

BTW - I am not upset that she is moving forward so fast...just confused.

She recently picked up this habit. I have threatened to cut her hair short like a boys, but i don't really want to do that. She has such pretty hair. But when I brush her hair it's painful to her because of the ends gerring hard & tangled from her sucking on it. She is going through an emotional time right now, so I think its an insecurity thing. The divorce is really hard on her. Any ideas to help her stop sucking her hair is greatly appreciated.

Thanks

my son is the most lovable boy, he was a preemie and now he is a little okay a lot overweight, i know stop giving him junk right well i have never told him he is fat because i dont want to make an issue out of it and make it worse. but he does eat not as much as he use to, ive tried getting low fat food in the house, which he likes he is very active bike riding running with friends so i dont understand why i cant get him to lose weight, he is starting to shoot up and it looks like he is starting to thin out, i just dont want him to go through life being picked on, I know it bothers him because he is always telling me he wishes he was skinny, his doctor just gives me advise on how to controll it. he does wonderfull in school but he could be very fresh at home. I know im jumping around issues here but if anyone has the same problem or an answer please help thank you

I had an ultrasound at 5 weeks 4 days. I was scheduled for it before I knew I was pregnant because my Dr. felt swelling in my ovary. When I found out I was pregnant I called to see if they wanted me to keep the appt. and they said yes. When I called for the results they said there is no evidence of fetal pull but it could be due to gestational age. I'm trying not to worry but that is impossible. Now I have to wait over a week for my first prenatal appt. and have no idea what to expect. I already have one child who is 18 months.

We like both Bailey and Jack as names. We want either to be a first name. Or maybe you have other suggestions? Does anyone have any suggestions for middle names?
We dont know its a boy, but my bf is counting on it. But he knows that it may be a girl. Time will only tell!
We like phillip for a middle name but it doesnt really go with either of those names. Its my bf's middle name and his fathers name so we kind of want to keep it in the family.
Thank you sooooooo much for any replies!
