Pregnancy & Parenting - 24 October 2006

Since an early miscarriage in july, my periods have been very odd, ranging from 5 days of spotting or 1 week of spotting then 2 days of normal bleed. we're trying again and i'm worried that until things settle down nothing will be able to happen. has anyone else conceived on abnormal periods?

Every morning I am, and also I have a pain in my lower right quadrant, but the thing is I am not expecting my period for a couple more days. Any comments or suggestions?

My 15 month old hates to sleep. She very rarely takes a nap during the day and will finally fall asleep anywhere between 11pm and midnight and will generally wake back up around 2am and will be up and down the rest of the night. I put her anywhere near her crib and she screams. Yes I have made the mistake and put her to bed with me because I need some sleep. I am going crazy with this and just don't know what to do. If anyone has any suggestions I would love to hear them (this is my first child)

im 11 weeks pregnant and i no longer have a job. My previous emoloyer basically said i didnt have a job to go back to when i left to have the baby so i walked out in temper. I have a 3 year old already and although she keeps me reasonably occupied i wake up and i cant bear to clean up AGAIN i am so bored i think im getting depressed. It doesnt help that im in the process of stopping smoking. Any tips to take my mind off of things

I have a 9mth baby girl and still b/f 4 feeds in 24hr period - I just had my first period on 5th October - I had sex with my hubby at time where ovulating - I feel like preg as having same symptoms that i had with my daughter but is it possible? Also i have milky white stringy discharge(like when ovulating) but I am due to get period next thurs......Could I be preg again??? I dont mind as we want another baby but is it possible?

i had sex last week
now since yesterday i have felt my stomach feeling weird
i take the pill each night at 10:30 before i sleep but my mom told e i taking it wrong and should be take it each morning

I just found out that I'm pregnant (approx 5 weeks). I'm currently in Iraq. If I go to the doctor they will send me home within 7 days and I will be punished. My life is in no immediate danger, but it is dusty. I have to do a lot of physical training, and a lot of physical labor. Do you think I am putting my baby in danger? My deployment is over in 1 month. Can I make it back to the states with my unit next month and then seek medical help or should I do it now? If you tell me to go back now, please give good reasons because I will get into quite a bit of trouble for this. Thank you. This is an extremely hard decision for me.

My daughter is four years old and she will be getting a sibling next year. We will be telling her in a few weeks time, but a worry for me is that she may ask how it will get out of my belly... or how it got in! Help! If she asks, what should I say? I don't qualify under LAM rules as my baby is beyond 6 mos, I sometimes nurse more than every 3 hours and more than 6 hours at night and I did begin menstruating when baby was 3 mos old but then stopped when he was 5 mos old. I've taken 5 pregnancy tests and all say negative and I don't feel any symptoms of pregnancy. But could I be pregnant? I was on a low dose bc pill for 2 months and stopped taking it when I didn't get my period.

I am just wondering how much one would do for their sister or brother or family relative who couldn't have a child.
Both my husband and I are childless and my SIL is unhappilly pg
with her fifth?
She knows of our pain, it would be lovely if she allowed us to adopt her son/daughter.
Would you do this for a relative?

36 weeks and its a sex question
I just started having sex with my husband after taking a preggo Im not sexy break that lasted for 4 weeks.. Now when I go for more that 15 mins I start to get a pain in my stomach and it increases the longer I go, until its a full blown belly cramp.. whats it from and is it because my belly is jiggling? Could jiggling your belly hurt the baby? I got the suggestion for speed sex.. what is that? really fast sex?

I went for my first ultrasound yesterday and im having a bit of trouble dealing with everything. I will most likely get an abortion because my partner and i have discussed it and think it is the best option for us but everywhere i go i get reminded that i am pregnant. I was excited yesterday when i went for the ultrasound and although i didnt get to see much it was still something inside of me. Today i went to the gym and told the trainer and she was telling me about her two kids and i feel like i should be feeling excited and i want to be excited but i know whats going to happen. I dont really know what to do and how to get through the next couple of weeks. I dont want any opinions on abortion or anything like that i am just wondering if anyone has experienced the same thing. If you dont have anything nice to say then please dont answer my question.

& so do I. But I am not sure about the timming. Our daughter is 4, our 19 month old is in speech theropy & can not yet talk or communicate. I want to be able to help my son as much as possible, & some docs say he may never talk. Also he is wants a baby so he can have another girl, but what if it is not. My wife and I enjoy sex very much. When it comes to birth control, we are trying the film (we both do not like condoms and she doesn't want to take the pill) and we want another child, just not now. My question is how effective is the film and have any of you tried it and how do you like it? Also anyone know of any other good methods for birth control? TY
