My daughter's father and I finally broke up and I am looking to get child support from him. It seems to be pretty hard. I had a court ordered petition that he pay and report his earnings but he hasn't so the court sends me checks for 68 cent. Help me find a low cost way to take him to court or some other kind of action.

Thanks.

I took my son to an urgent doctor a few weeks ago on a Saturday...he's fine...but that doctor thought she saw a lazy eye. So, at my son's 4th year annual check up a couple weeks later, I asked his pediatrician about it. She looked, but didn't really see anything and I've never heard this before that urgent care doctor. His pediatrician did some exercises where she asked my son to follow the laser on the wall while she monitored his eyes and said that sometimes lazy eyes are there, but you can't really see them.

Have any of you moms ever had this? What did you do about it? If there is one, does he grow out of it, or is there some sort of treatment?

I do not want anyone to take offence to this, but I have to ask. As so many people on here class themselves anti-abortionist, I assume at least some are religious and disagree for religious reasons.
Again this is not meant to offend but its something I've been wondering for a long time, if you campaign about abortions being wrong and evil (I will not judge either way), as its your religious belief, how you do compensate for making peoples lives a misery (when the chances are its bad enough at the particular time anyway) in the name of a god that I was lead to believe wants peace on earth and mankind to get a long with each other?

Again I'm sorry if this offends I am simply curious, and I'm not saying all religious people that are against abortion make peoples live a misery, but there are a few that go out of there way to upset and insult.

This is a (last minute) middle school project for Family Studies and my son needs to write a paper on this. It just needs some details on why stuffed animals (a Panda) is such a great toy. He would like some other peoples' opinion so that is why I am post ing this question.

One of my husbands best friends recently found himself a woman. And I hate and can't stand her and her kids. My sons are 1 and 4 , her sons are 2 and 4 , and they are undisciplined little brats who are always hitting, biting, slapping, taking away toys, and pushing around my boys or breaking my kids' toys. She doesn't do anything about it, and I'm the only person who ever stops it. She doesn't even tell them that it was bad or make them apologize. Her kids always have some kind of disease (most recently Impetigo, Roseola, Hand Foot Mouth disease - in the last 5 months) and she brings them over while they're infected and contageous and doesn't tell anyone until she wants to come over again and I tell her that she can't because my boys are sick and she says " Well, my boys just had that so I don't think they'd get it again." How do we tell the guy that we still like him, and he can come over, but he can't bring them anymore without ruining the friendship with him and my hubby?

My boyfriend and i have been together 3 years, he is 23 and i am 20. We both want a child but at the moment we cannot afford to have one. We have decided to put it off until we both have our own house and enough funds for a child.

we both have friends who have children, neither parents work and they live in a tiny council house, they keep telling us "just to go for it" but i want more for my child.

are we doing the right thing?

Have you ever heard this old wives tale if a baby develops early they are moving out the way for the next child. My wife and I hear this all the time. Our four month old is and has been developing fast. Mothers stop us all the time and ask how old is she when we tell them their moths drop and she is doing that already or she can sit like that be careful she is moving out the way so you guys can have another one soon. Even our pediatrician says she is developing really well and passing all her mile stones early. The thinking is the child is trying to walk and talk so that you have less to worry about with the next baby. Just wondering because we have no intention of having another one for a few years but everyone is saying for us to double up on birth control because if not we will have another one before next year is out.
Ps jsut wondering if any one has heard this before

My 13 month old had developed what looks to be eczema maybe.. I read a little about it over the net and it says that a few things can trigger it. Such as new soap for the bath, peanut butter and washing detergents and stuff. For a couple of weeks now he has had a little dry skin on his back area which i just thought was a phase his skin was going through so i kept moisturising it. And about 3 days ago i gave him peanut butter on toast(which i was told he was okay to have after 12mths old, just not actual nuts) for the first time and it seemed to have maybe flared it up a little. Im cutting out the peanut butter and his soaps and stuff, i have just brought some special stuff from the chemist today. Is there anything else i dont know of to clear it up?? Im using dermaveen bath and moisturiser. It looks really itchy and sore. and he has a bit of trouble sleeping the last couple of nights because he has been uncomfortable... got any more tips?
