I'm serious. Tylenol isn't even getting rid of them. It feels almost like a tension headache, but I seriously can't get it to go away. Has anyone else had this?

Yes, headaches are normal and they should start easing up in a few weeks. I had real bad headaches from about 9-12 weeks, now I only get them once in a while and they are pretty minor but I have heard of women having them the whole 9 months. By the way you CAN take Tylenol but if it is not helping I would not take it.

I had headaches like that just before the end of the first trimester. Mine were really bad, where I was vomiting every time I moved and seeing static rolling across my field of vision. I tried tylenol and caffeine but it didn't help at all. I was worried about the blood pressure issue but checked my blood pressure and it was normal. I had to call my doctor because of the pain, and he prescribed Fioricet, which is a tylenol/caffeine/barbituate combination. After that, I would take the prescription pain meds at the beginning of the headache (which I could predict because everything seemed to have much more color than usual, and if I looked at something and then looked away I would see a glowing image of what I had looked at), go to sleep, and when I woke up the headache would be gone.

I am 11 weeks pregnant and had my first horrible migraine last night. I didn't want to take medicine and tried to get rid of it by staying in bed, which didn't work at all. Finally, I took one Exedrine Extra Strenght and got a massage from my husband and it eased up a little bit. It is still hanging around though this morning. Tylenol is ok to take, just don't take any Aspirin.

Headache is a pain in the head, scalp or

eyestrain, lack of coffee or moreserious reasons like

It's a common compliant in pregnancy mine had gotten so bad that I had to go to the eye doctor and she put me in glasses until I had my baby because sometimes when you are pregnant it puts even more strain on your eyes and glasses are needed because of the severity of the headaches. It's normal...best thing tylenol and naps.

yes honey, i am afraid to tell you that it is. My daughter had the same thing and the headaches kept her in tears and bed for months....the doctor said some women just have abnormal hormone shifts when pregnant and that is wht causes them. As you could guess there is nothing they will give you for them either, you just have to wait them out. Good luck and congradulations.

Yes. All these hormonal changes can really make for some hard days. They do get better when you hit your 2nd trimester and the hormones start leveling out.

Good luck and congrats.
