Do NOT use Ky Jelly. If you go to Preseed.com (which is what I have been told to use by the fertility doctor) it will show how the sperm will not swim in the KY jelly, but they will in Preseed as Preseed has PH levels very similar to your cervical mucus.

From the girls I talked to on a baby board, they all got pregnant using Preseed.

No ky will not affect conception as its not a spermicidal jelly its just a lubrication to make sex easier if the woman is dry the best jelly is durex play as it doesnt leave the residue behind after it just evapourates during sex.

the bottle says "not a spermicide" take from that what you will.
May mean sperm friendly may mean not made to kill sperm. I think it just means "not be used as birth control"

I personally still use it. however, if we are not PG by the time this bottle is empty the next one we will by will be "preseed". I've heard you can only buy it on line. I've also heard its a bit more slippery then KY.
*preseed is claimed to mimick the ph level of a women to not "confuse" sperm and help them on their way.
The others don't make that claim.
*good luck

Yes it does. It has a too high PH level and kills the sperm. Not kidding you. If you need a lubricant when you're trying to conceive, then use Preseed. It has a sperm friendly neutral PH level.

I was personally told by my OB/GYN that anything used for lubrication changes the Ph level of your vagina which affects contraception....I am not saying that you can't get prego while using personal lubrication! Even saliva affects your ph level and if your vagina gets to acidic then sperm die quicker. Hope this helps

My Reproductive Endocrinologist told me the only thing I could use is pre-seed. They said everything else, can kill sperm even if the bottle says it's sperm friendly. I like pre-seed the best anyway.
