I did not ovulate 14 after my first period started, it was a few days over-due because I took a ovulation test.
To be exact I got my period on the 2nd of October
and ovulated on the 18th of October.
And Im waiting for the day my period is suppose to be due so that I can take a pregnancy test. Im mainly trying to find out when my period will come.
This maybe too confusing lol.

you count huge type the 24, 25 , 26 , 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, a million, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, which would be 14 days get an ovulation equipment and it will tell u if u r ovulating or no longer take it 8 days after your era starts off the ten then 12 no longer absolutely everyone ovulates 14 days later

I wrote this really long answer and my computer froze lol
Maybe it was a sign to condense it lol.
Basically... a positive can show 10-12 days after ovulation (28th-30th for you) But they usually say to wait for 15 (the 3rd)
To answer your actual question... on a 28 day cycle, your period starts 14 days after ovulation, but you would have ovulated on the 15th not the 18th
So, Im not sure if your ovulation dictates when your period comes, or if you can ovulate on, say, day 16 and still get your period after the 28th day.
But what you can do, if you're feeling anxious now and want to test, is get one that says test 5 days sooner, cus you 'would' be due for a period the 30th and so it could show up. And just take another in a week.
Hope that helped a little lol

A "normal" cycle is 28 days. The first day of the cycle (CD1) is the first day of heavy flow during your period. If you have a normal 28 day cycle, then you count 14 days after your first day of heavy flow, and you will ovulate 24-36 hours from CD14. Most women, however, do not have a regular cycle. Depending on lots of things, it can be longer (mine sucks, it's anywhere between about 40 and 60 days), or it can be shorter. Hope that answered your question!

generally my ob/gyn said it is 14 days from the start of your period...give or take, of course. If you are trying to conceive, they recommended trying on days 10-12-14-16, though I think I'd add day 18 too, depending on how long your cycle is.
