No..Formula is a lot thicker than breast milk and takes longer to digets. So they will drink less formula than breast milk when you compare ounces. At six months, my son would drink 8oz of breastmilk and only between 3-5 of formula.

I use to watch a friends baby and she would only drink about 2/3 ounces in a bottle from me during day. Also remember a baby stomach is only the size of their fist. If your baby is a newborn or their abouts I would not worry about it unless they are not gaining weight.

Well I am confused as to what you are talking about exactly, but no formula and breastmilk are not the same.

Formula takes longer to digest and makes babies feel more full.

you will be able to decide for to keep the entire feeding for yet all over returned. that would desire to in all likelihood be ideal interior the long-term. Breast milk ought to acquire on call for. in case you pass returned to artwork you will choose a stable reservoir of pumped milk. Giving him a bottle now can intrude inclusive of your potential to make milk. The stimulation from him is plenty distinctive then a pump (or instruction manual expressing). to actual answer you question: while he ate an oz.. replaced into it nevertheless yellowish milk? if so he did no longer choose as much as in case you milk is completely in now. i might provide him an a million.5 oz.. Burp him after a million.5 oz. and if he nevertheless seems hungry provide him one greater ounce. Repeat. you would be shocked to work out your little one wanting to nurse from you afterwards. while ingesting from a bottle toddlers get plenty greater air. Its very universal for them to spit up. making a bottle is plenty greater of a worry then merely breast feeding. Bottle fed mothers constantly make comments like "I fed him 2 oz. and he spit up a million" Milk gets wasted interior the adventure. Burping is extremely significant.
