saltine crackers & ginger ale (in a can is best)

You cannot prevent it. You can't make it go away. It is caused by a hormonal imbalance & will pass on it's own. It can happen at any time of day & usually subsides by the forth month.

It's different for everybody, so be open to any wholesome way to couteract it. With my first pregnancy I enjoyed green apples, and with the second, I liked sucking on jolly ranchers, but don't do that too much! Read up on how much weight you should probably gain and don't let yourself just eat anything, but eat healthfully for that precious little new person inside you! Eating right, exercising carefully, and looking foreward to the baby will help you with morning sickness, which can sometimes be all day sickness, but it's just hormones so don't fret it!!

I was told it is better to eat small meals throughout the day instead of three big one, eat saltine crackers before you get out of bed, and if your morning sickness gets too bad go to your doctor and he can prescribe you something for it.

Not much, besides eat crackers and ginger ale. There are Preggie Pops, sold at Motherhood and Babies R Us, but I have never used them, so I don't know how they work.

I would suggest eating small meals and nothing too heavy. If the vommiting is extreme, contact your doctor, they can give you a prescription if you are at risk of becoming dehyrated.

Take it easy when you first get out of bed. Don't just spring up, get up slowly and try to eat some dry crackers. If it becomes too bothersome, see your doctor, they do have medications to help.
