I often wonder the same thing. Also, two of the most homely of people can have a child and it will turn out just beautiful. It's a mystery

Many babies who are not-so-cute, tend to blossom later in life. On the flip side, alot of really cute babies and cute kids i have seen didnt really turn out too great. Its a crap shoot really. As far as genes all these other people who answered are dead wrong. Human genes are haploid- you get exactly half of your mom's genes and extactly half of your dad's. Wether the half you get or give is pretty or ugly is random. So basically you will have a beautiful baby who will be a "hottie" later and "popular", or an "ugly" baby who will be "smart" and have a "nice personality".

Beauty,brain and resources are universal.say for the biological way example: George Clooneys and Angelina Jolies are sex symbolic personality.Woman strongly values intelligence and masculine facial features,looking for a sexual potency.Looking or going on offspring are so varied and random.Look the fights between Jennifer Anistone and Angelina Jolies..for what?

sometimes the most ugly babies( i know all babies are pretty intheir own way) turn out to be the most beautiful teenagers and adults , i have also seen some very beautiful babies turn out to be ugly teenagers and adults, sometimes it depends on how you are brought , personal hygien , eatting right and such, but how you definde beauty should not be baised solely on looks, i know for most of us .. it is .. just by a glace we gudge and we should not i know beautiful people physically and the are ugly emotional and vice or versa

well its not written in stone that when a beautiful man and women get married they have an average looking child....Theres alot more to it like Genetics...Genetics is a lot like probablility...your never going to be sure of what the child will get...

The human gene pool is a quirky thing. You are not only combining the genetic make-up of the mother and father, but the combined gene pools of their ancestors.
Unfortunately, you never know what is going to pop up. . .or I should say, out!

Just thank the Lord Jesus Christ that you could carry a child, some women cannot. Also be thankful that healthy baby, some women have kids with all kinds of disabilities just think how much work it takes to take care of them.

Well that the child grow up 1st and then see what the child looks like.all babies are Beautiful when there born.

Maybe we as a society expect them to have super beautiful children. Maybe their children is beautiful we just expected more

no matter what your kid should always be beautiful to you. you need to be your babys rock all through life so dont get caught up on this there are more important things in life!!!
