My daughter is 4 and she has been potty trained for 2 years now, but for some reason this past few months, I cannot get her to go poo in the potty she goes in her underpants. Sometimes I can catch her, she does that dance, ya know? Well, its getting aggrevating and I don't know what to do, she urinates in the potty but for some reason #2 she just doesn't want to do anymore? Can you help with some advice.

Is there a chance that I would still have my period or what?? That's probably a stupid question, but my husband and I really aren't ready to have a child, so this is kinda disturbing to me...

I babysit staying all night at my daughter's three nights a week. Occasionally, my 18 mo. old granddaughter wakes up crying , screaming and hollering her own language with "Mommmmy" puntuating the tirades.

Last night it was off and on for four hours. Her Mom, Dad, and I tried five separate times to calm her down and we left her to scream a few times as well.

She stops for ten or 15 minutes and starts up again. It's not a pain, cold, or wet/soiled scream. It's eerie, trancelike or even like she's still asleep. She doesn't acknowldege us and her eyes are kind of vacant. Is she dreaming? Should we be concerned? Should we try to wake her up?

I can manage fine because I can take a nap when she and her four year old sister do but my daughter and her hubby have to get up at five to go to work/school .

It breaks my heart to see her so inconsolable. She is always fine in the morning though a bit tired. Help!

I just remarried. I have 3 boys he has 2. Yeah yeah I am crazy. But my youngest is now 3. All of my boys are 3 yrs apart. I just want to add on. Big problem though. My hubby is fixed. He never went to check to see if he was in fact sterilized because his ex wife ended up getting a hysterectomy. What do you think the chances of us conceieving? Am I crazy? Anyone else had the same problem?

My son is 10 months old and I am already wondering what type of parent I will be when he hits his Teens. I don't want to be one of those mothers who becomes his best friend. I want to be able to give him a structured and semi strict enviroment, while still being his friend and maintaining a good relationship with him.
Has anyone ever been able to attain this middle ground of parenting? And if so can you please give me some advice!
Thanks!

I think I may be pregnant, but I am not due for my period until next week. I have started having this huge apetite. I normally am not hungry in the mornings, in fact it used to make me sick , but now I find that I am starving in the mornings, and pretty much all the time. When I do eat, I feel sick afterward. I'm not sure what is going on. Any help would be appreciated....Oh, also, I just haven't felt like myself, I just feel funny....

My 7 month old had vomited some last night and it wasn't like his usual spit up, it smelled like vomit (stomach acid). It had a little food mixed in, but the puddles weren't any bigger than usual spit up (a little smaller than the palm of my hand). It wasn't everything in his stomach and he acted fine and had no fever. He did this about 4 times in an hour and then quit. I gave him about 4-5 ouces of Pedialyte and put him to bed and he didn't vomit any over night. But I am still worried. What do you think could have caused this, and is it safe to feed him well tolerated solids and formula or should I stick with liquids for a little while? His temp is still normal and he still isn't acting sick.

What is it about this age where we feel the need to put together a house with no sweets? A house where are kids are literally on a diet from day one? Has no one heard the phrase “eat in moderation?” It seems like everyone is going through a phase where we are so obsessed with obesity that we are taking it to the extreme. Yes, I believe kids don’t need to be eating sweets 24/7 or drinking chocolate milk with every meal but people (and I’ve heard children saying it now) “don’t want their kids to get fat?” I just cannot believe all these people--what kind of an image do you think that sets for a child?

For the record, no I don’t give my kids candy every time we go out. No, I’m not overweight and neither are my children. I don’t ever remember watching what they eat--but I do make sure my husband and I eat in moderation and provide them with healthy snacks and food. I guess for me I just don’t stress every time I go to the grocery store just to make sure my kids “don’t get fat.”

I'm a working mother with a 1 year old. On the weekends I clean my house really good and by the middle of the week it is a disaster again. I get home about 5pm. and am constantly going with my son until his bed time about 8pm. After I put him to bed I just want to go to bed myself and forget about everything, but when I wake up in the morning everything is a disaster. Does anyone have any suggestions or tips on how to balance work, son, cleaning house, cooking dinner for my husband.

I know a lot of people aren't going to like that I've got to say but I'm saying it anyway!

IMHO if someone isn't able to have kids then its meant to be that way for whatever reason. If your body is saying no to having kids then it should be left at that. All this meddling with nature is no good and its worrying to think where or when it will end.

I also strongly object to people getting it for free on the NHS. Also its turning into a lifestyle choice. 'I want a career before kids so I'll wait till I'm almost to old then get IVF done - problem solved'.

Nature should be left alone.

Well then why do parents get divorced? Why do people continue to go into one abusive relationship after the other?

I have a three month old and I am not sure if it's normal for this or not but he seems to be acting fine like nothing is wrong. His temp. has been a tad bit low (nothing alarming) but at about 98.2 to 98.5 which is lower than usual for him. He woke up after 7 hours of sleeping and barely had a wet diaper at all. And it was like that the other night. He isn't eating as much either at all. It's just weird b/c he is not showing any signs of not feeling good. What could be going on with him??? Any similar experiences???

OKay, I went to get a blood test and they were going to check my levels as well as see if I was truly pregnant, they didn't check my levels but the test came back positive, I am really excited but also I am scared, I had a miscarriage in march and have worried about becoming pregnant since. I didn't get a positive result on an hpt until I was 21 days late, and I am worried that my levels are too low, I have had cramps alomost everyday all month, I really want this baby to be okay, I am so worried, I called for them to test my levels this time, I am hoping they will tell me I can go today.....What will happen if my levels are low? Dos anyone know anybody who has given birth to healthy babies when they had low levels? I would be about 7 weeks, unless I ovulated late, and then probably 4- 5, last time I miscarried at 6 1/2 weeks. Any advice?

My grandson's mother feels it is ok for him to ride forward facing, because supposedly the doctor said his neck muscles were strong enough for him to do so. I think that he should be rear facing, not only because she is breaking the law but because it would be safer. Her reply is also that he would hurt his legs riding backwards.
