The other night in the bath tub he peed thought it was great and then actually pulled at it and grunted and concentrated and ended up peeing 3 more little times in the bath tub. When would be a good time and a good way to introduce the potty.

If a baby is born at 30 weeks does it take 10 more weeks for lungs to fully develope? Or does it just depend on the baby? My baby was born at 30 weeks. He has no known problems and was never on any machines when sent home.I think he was on a vent for about 4 days and then cpap for a couple hours but that was it. If anyone has expierence with this please let me know. I've thought about asking the dr for a lung x-ray or some test that might show but didnt know if that was something the dr would feel nessesary to do?

Alright, I've seen everyone talking about having sex, And how orgasams can help naturally induce labor, I was wondering..

Would a self induced orgasam provide the same effect?

And what is it about the orgasam itself, That helps to induce labor, Is it because of all the muscles contracting?!?!?

I told my doctor at my first appointment that my last period started on August 14. Last Friday he said I was 9 weeks and 1 day.

Well, I started doing math and that would actually be (as long as my math is right) August 17 as a conception date.

That would be the Thursday that I had my period. Of course I never had hard daes for anything written down so I have no idea. But, how lokely is that that I would get pregnant on thhat Thursday when my period started on Monday?

Thanks for the help! I'd like to be as far along as possible (away from the misscarrage phase). But, don't think it's very likely. I've got my first ultrasound on Friday but want to know if I am possibly going to be dissapointed by finding out I'm only 8 weeks??

How do you know if you've had a miscarriage? How is it different from a normal period? I am completely in the dark. What are the signs you notice or look for? I have painful heavy periods with clots and i've been told it could be anemia. Anyway can anyone help me shed some light on this topic? Any advice will be appreciated. Thanks in advance! If more information is needed you can email me at blue_rosett1987@yahoo.com

Yeah I know this is really stupid, but I'm serious :-)

Okay, so I'm 15 and I've never done laundry. I don't really *have* to do it, but my mom is always complaining about how much laundry she has to do so I figured I'd just start doing some of it so she wouldn't have to do so much all the time. How do you do laundry though? I know how to fold clothes (I do that all the time), but as far as washing them--how do you do it? I know how to separate the clothes, but how much soap do you put in? Hot water/Cold water? How do you know when the clothes are ready to be put in the dryer? How long do I dry them for? Please give me details--I don't want to shrink or mess up anything! Thanks! ! !

I am so depressed right now since my first IVF-ET failed and don't know why. I had a laparoscopy done in 8/18/06 since my period was a bit crazy. I would have my period for a whole week and with lots of cramps. During surgery, they removed my polyps from my cervix and the left fallopian tube since it was damaged due to fluid retention (Hydrosalpinx). I was taking Lupron injections in 9/06 from the beginning of 2 wks which wasn't so bad. Afterwards, I took Gonal F 225IU for 2 wks. along with Lupron, 10 units. I did my egg retrieval on 10/5. They retrieved 4 eggs. The next day, they called and said all 4 fertilized. On 10/9, I had my embryo transfer done but 2 eggs stop growing and were no good anymore but the other 2 were put back in since they were grade 1. Pregnancy came back negative and was shocked. I am only 29 yrs. old I told the doctor and I shouldn't have a problem. I need some insights to know how I can succeed with the next one. I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

My 17 month old son has been off the bottle since 12 mo. He was using the Nuby sippy cups with a silicone spout. Now he uses a straw cup during the day and his pre-bed milk is given in the Nuby. His Dr. told me that he *should* be drinking out of a regular hard spout sippy...but my son refuses it!
Any suggestions about how I can get him to take the hard spout sippy? Or is it really that important? He can drink out of a straw, and a regular cup if I hold it for him- but he won't tip a regular sippy cup himself!

I tried using the Pamper's Cruisers, Huggies Surpremes, Especally For Baby, Target Brand and the diaper liners and they have all leaked. My son is only 15 pounds and I think I'm going to have to try size 4 diapers. Do you folks thank that I should try the Huggies Overnights and are they better then the White Cloud Overnights.

One other thing I would like to comment on. I used to be a die hard Huggies fan, but after trying the Pamper's Cruisers I just might change my mind. If you are a Huggies fan and haven't tried the Pamper's Cruisers give them a try. They fit my son like a glove. They did leak for overnight for my son, but I think that I just got the wrong size.

My son is almost 11 months old, and shows a definite preference in using his right hand (for playing, eating, etc...) My husband and I are both lefties--can he still possibly become left-handed? Also, how many of you are both left-handed and have a right-handed baby?

I am about 6 weeks preg, and will be quitting my job in a few weeks. My job is the type where you need to travel, and work overtime and I don't want to send my child to daycare, so I made the choice to be a stay at home mom, since my husband's job can support it. Everyone at work is very career oriented and pretty much single and childless or with grown up children, and they don't have a high opinion of anyone getting preg young. I am in my early twenties, and co-workers have mentioned comments before about "not ruining my life and getting knocked up" . I am good friends with most of my co-workers, but don't think it's anyone's business as to whether I have children or not. Should I tell them that I'm preggo, or just quit with some other reason (going back to school, etc). I will prob. keep contact with some people even after quitting, as we're good friends, and may end up telling them later on, but what to do know? My husband says just say your preggo, what can they do about it.
