I am so sick with morning sickness (it is all day long) but I have not thrown up yet, I am holding it in. I was just wondering if it helps, or will it just get worse because I really hate puking! I am scared to throw up, but if it will help with the nasea i will do anything. Or if you have any ideas on how to help the neasea go away! Thanks

I know what you're thinking " is this chick crazy " but the question is from my friend. I'm positive that overweight people can breed but she won't take my word for it, so please just give me some serious answers. She is 5'7 and190 pounds and is desperate for a child and is skeptical for if she should lose weight first than try to conceive or have the baby first and lose the pregnancy weight and some of the weight she has now all together. This will be her first child and she can't stop thinking about what choice she should make. HELP ME PLEASE, she's getting annoying!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My pediatrician told me to start my baby on cereal. She said to feed her cereal in the am. and top it off with a bottle. The problem is i have been trying this for 4 days and my daughter screams bloody murder everytime i put the spoon in her mouth. she screams until i give her the bottle. So she is not really eating any cereal. My question is how do I get her to eat from the spoon? Should I try the cereal in between feedings instead of waiting for it to be time for her next bottle?

shouldnt i get a break with child support. i can provide for the children when they are with me. i wanted my family to be at home with me, she chose to cheat and leave. she doesnt work, shouldnt she have more of an economic responabilty. i dont want to give any money to her, i dont have to put money in her hands to provide for my kids, especially if they are with me half the time.

i'm only in the beginning of my pregnancy but i keep thinking about labor and how painful it will be. don't get me wrong, i am grateful that i'm having a baby and i'm ready, but i'm just having some butterflies. my fiance feels the same. my soon to be mother-in-law is sooo cruel. shes not helping me one bit. matter of fact, she hates me! but i'm not worried about that right now. i just want to know what i should do about being in labor.

Does anyone ever wonder why so many people (celebrities especially) insist upon adopting a child from a country other than the one in which they live? Madonna lives in England. Aren't there poor, sad (but hopeful!) children in London and other parts of England waiting to be adopted? There certainly are PLENTY of children in the US who need homes.

Hi. I have 2 awesome Bichons. They have been my babies for 7 years. I am 5 months pregnant and I'm wondering how to bring the baby home? Should I just bring the baby in the house right away? Should I go in first and greet the dogs, then bring the baby in? Should I just act like nothing is different? They will be very excited to see me, since I will be gone for a couple of day after birth. There's gotta be a proper way, so the dogs aren't overly jealous....thanks in advance for all of your answers!

I'm new to this forum, so first I'd like to say hello to everyone.

I just came back from my u/s, I'm 7w6d pregnant and I'm really worried that the heart rate is so high (182bpm) I asked my doctor about her opinion, but all she said was that it's too early to suggest anything.

I had a m/c in the past and after some blood tests, the doctor determined that I'm having an AT3 deficiency, I'm taking Lovenox shots right now and I'm so scared that I might be disappointed again. Please, tell me if something like this happened to any of you and what was the outcome.I read some articles about it, but they say that the normal range should be between 120 and 160bpm. With my last pregnancy the HB was 120 - a little slow (ended up in a m/c at 7w3d) and now the HB is so high...

Plus at my first ultrasound at 5w1d the tech said that the baby measures 5w6d,so according to that I should be 8w4d today, but the doctor said that I'm actually 7w6d.Is that normal?

I'm really worried, please help!

Why do people think it is ok to come on here and criticize people who are just wanting some real advice. I don't understand. Is it cause they are jealous or they just don't understand that people asking a question are only wanting advice on that question. I went to the heath center to get the morning after pill on the 24th because i had unprotected sex on the 23 and i couldn’t get it because they said i was pregnant. i also had sex before that on the 9th. so was i pregnant from having sex on the 9th or the 23?? would it show by taking a urine test in about 13 hours from having sex. or is it showing from the time before on the 9th????

My husband and I recently went to our RE to undergo tests. All of my tests came back normal. The doctor then ordered some semen analysis for him, His count was found to be 0! I know that it means that he doesn't have any active sperm but is there still a chance I could get pregnant? I need to know if IUI or IVF or something out there could work. My husband doesn't like the idea of having a sperm donor but I have found that it might be the only way of me actually gettting to experience pregnancy! Does anyone have any ideas, suggestions! Please HELP! And yes, we have considered adoption but the age to start all of that is 25 and we are not 25 yet! Help! Thanks in advance!

My daughter will be 8 next month, she is highly intelligent and most of her friends are older because of her after school activities (she is tutor and she is in a Science, Computer and Math Club). We try to keep her well rounded and treat her age most of the time but her maturity level is so high I find myself treating her as if she is older. She is very "conflicted" right now about how to act. She is to mature for most of the kids in class and not old enough to go to the mall and "hang out" with her older friends, for this reason I have become the worst mom ever. She whines constantly about everything and does that eye rolling routine every time I speak to her. I know that it is just a phase but I feel partly responsible for her angst because of her academic situation. I have signed her up for girl scouts because I thought more time and activities with girls her age would be good for her, but she doesn't fit in and usually sits off to the side by herself. What do I do?
