i work in this office and a couple of doors down there is a nail school and i can smell the chemicals in my office and i am 6 weeks pregnant is it fine or is it unhealthy for my baby its a very strong smell i alway come home with headaches

If the odor is strong enough for you to smell it in your office a couple doors down from this establishment, then you should be talking to your ob/gyn about it for sure. Especially if you're having headaches due to the odor.
Someone should be investigating why the odor from that business is traveling so far to other businesses. Maybe the local health department could take care of it.'

Well i think you should try to know what are these smell cause they may be very dangerous for you and your baby. You should ask the school and contact a doctor in case these products are toxic specially if you come back home with headhake maybe your baby could have result from that smell . you should be VERY concern about that

If it is strong enough that you are coming home with headaches, you need to talk to your OB about the situation and his or her assessment of it. Maybe you could get an air purifier for your office that would help the situation.

A strong sense of smell is common in pregnancy, as well as headaches.
If it did not cause you headaches prior to the pregnancy I would consider it pregnancy related and not a problem.

If its so strong its giving you head aches you need to be moved away from that area .
