Raspberry leaf tea is thought to be really good when pregnant. Taken 8 to 6 weeks before birth It is supposed to promote effective uterine contractions at delivery and thus ease childbirth. So its really safe to drink. It tastes nice too! Herbal teas that you buy in the shops are usually very weak compared to the actual herb. St Johns Wart and Ginseng are probably the only ones I wouldn't drink. Nettle tea is particularly good because it contains minerals that will benefit you and the baby.

i was recommended to drink raspberry leaf tea in the late stages of my pregnancy so i went to my local health shop and bought some .... my husband bought me a book about herbs and it said not to drink during pregnancy so i recommend reading as much as you can about it before you decide

I have heard it's safe in the last trimester and good for an easy labour, good luck I didn't try it as I had C- cections but would have if my babies were going to be natural... good luck

NO raspberry leaf tea can cause premature labor. your baby will come when its ready to get here so dont try to force it!

Yes! It's safe after the 1st trimester. In fact it could strengthen your uterus and provide you with beneficial nutrients to help you the rest of the way.
