Well its a little scary, but don't worry you will have all the medical assistance you can ask for and your loved ones will be there as well. I had to stay in the hospital for a month (I had severe pre eclampsia) and all I heard was women screaming and doctors and nurses running around. So by the time I was induced i was a little scared but comfortable and I think that made my delivery a lot easier. I didn't strain myself and I didn't even feel any pain. So don't worry yourself too much about it, you will be glad when its all over and you will have someone new to love unconditionally.

They take such good care of you when you go in to have the baby. Really, your too excited to be scared. There isnt really anything ot be scared about. The labor and delivery area is really an upbeat happy part of the hospital. You ussually have one particular nurse that takes care of you mostly, and just tell her if anything worries you or bothers you. It all goes bye pretty fast. If you are scared about something just ASK a nurse...most of the time the "being worried" part is worse than the real thing. Contractions are really uncomfortable but if you have an epidural youprobably wont feal as bad. I went natrual ( meaning I didnt take any medications the whole time I was in the hospital) and I survived..lol..It wasn't as terrible as I thought. Overall, its a pretty fun experience to go have your baby, you'll get flowers and have all kinds of visitors ( if you have alot of family and friends) and the minute you get to hold your newborn, you'll know it was all worth it.
Good luck!

It's not scary, a little bit more crazy. If this is your first baby, then it's the unknown. Even if you watch everything that you can on giving birth, you never know if that's the way it's going to turn out. It might go smoothly or you might have to have a c-section. Try not to think negitive, only think that your going to bring a baby into this world and that's all that matters. Good luck and congratulations!!!

It's different for everybody, I guess. Just remember, your body will be going through a lot, including releasing adrenaline, I would imagine.
When your body feels energized, it's up to you to decide what emotion to give that energy.
Trust me on this one. There are studies about injecting people with adrenaline and asking them how they feel. If they're already in a good mood, they feel great! If they're in not such a good mood, they cry.
Mind over matter, honey!
