With your first child, from the moment you decided to start trying, how long did it take you to get pregnant?

My husband and I are super fertile. Our friends tease us that we can't even look at each without getting pregnant. We have four children between the ages of 6years and 16 months. 3 of them were surprises. The one that was planned took a couple of weeks. We're not sure how the 4th one slipped by as we were using 2 forms of birth control.

With our daughter I got pregnant not even two weeks after i got off the pill. But this time it's taken a few months. But i believe that everything happens for a reason and it'll happen when it's supposed to.

But my sister has been trying for 3 years.
Relax and let it happen when it happens.
My parents tried for 8 years, had 2 miscarriages, filed for adoption approval and then found out they were pregnant with me, then they had my sister 3 years later.
Both of you should be tested to make sure you CAN have babies THEN if all it OK just let it happen.
If you find out one of you can't then you know right off that you will need to adopt if you want kids.

We decided to try and I figured out my ovulation date... we did the deed once a day for 5 days, and 2 weeks later I got a positive test... so not very long at all.

It took us 1 month to get pregnant with our son who is now 3. And I am pregnant with our 2nd son and I got pregnant on the pill!

The first time we had unprotected sex, I became pregnant. I wouldn't exactly say we were trying, but by not using protection, we weren't exactly "not" trying, you know? :) Same thing with the second child, only with him, we were trying. We had unprotected sex and 9 1/2 months later, out he came!

Almost a full year. We both were tested for various fertility problems, and my husband had some issues, but we finally got preggers on our own without the need of fertility treatment. Now I'm 23 weeks pregnant and couldn't be happier!
