my gf finished her period about a week ago, and we had unprotected sec 3 or 4 days ago, she told me that since then she has been getting a pinky browny discharge and tht her period ended a week ago, she said this hasn't happened before, could she be pregnant?

I am a stay-at-home mom in Ohio, wanting to provide childcare for 1-4 hours at a time for those running errands/shopping up the road from me, which is where all the shopping in the area is. This is not a permanent situation. I don't know how much to charge per hour. Do I charge less per hour if someone has 2 or 3 children?

Baby is so low - I can no longer put my legs together. Sunday, bad case of braxton-hicks. Monday - braxton-hicks stronger. Tuesday, strongest braxton-hicks contractions that stoppped about mid day. Last night, I had bad lower back pain. This morning, I feel prefectly fine. Is there a such thing as "the calm before the storm" when it comes to labor? Just wanna be prepared.

I think of kids/no kids scenario in my marriege very often. I don't think NOT having kids would be problem/disaster. Everybody I know is just nagging me and asking. When? Don't you want to have children? (im married 8 years). They go on my nerves, it feels like I need to have a child because its in some book of life or something. Truth? I don't want any. I am happy, I feel complete and just enjoying life as it is. Do I have to have a child otherwise my life is worth less? Is it my mission on this earth? I hate people sticking their noses into my businees and everytime my stomach is bloated after good food they have stupid questions. How pathetic.

Did anyone see this report on the Today show? Many parents start feeding their kids bad foods very early in life that over the years is damaging their young bodies thus leading to diabetes and heart problems. What are the culprits in your fridge? Some of the items listed to avoid are:

Whole milk and 2% milk (loaded with bad fat)
Yogurt with fruit (loaded with sugar)
White bread (no fiber)
Regular applesauce (loaded with sugar)
Drinks like Hi-C, Gatorade, soda (loaded with sugar)

The woman on the show stated that you might as well be eating candy.

I have two schools to choose from one which has good results in sats and inspection but has terrible facilities building and general learning environment, but all the local kids and kids from street would go to and the other only 5mins drive away but no kids from his immediate surroundings would go to but this school has again good sats results and inspection report but wonderful facitities in comparison to the other school. Also it is bright and stimulation! My decision is which is best for my child, an excellent learning environment or a place to form friendships with children from his street/ estate?

Hi. I am about 17 weeks pregnant, and my husband wants to be careful. Hes afraid hes going to hurt either me or the baby. Is there any special precautions we should take? I have lost track of when my period is due, but it seems like it has been quite a while since, around 5 weeks. I have recently been experiencing strange stuff like heartburn, pain in only one breast, cramps (like period pain) but no bleeding. I took a hpt yesterday but it said it was negative. It was only 7 days ago that my partner and i had sex, is it to soon to tell?

I'm not depressed when not pregnant. I have two children, and i never feel this way after the baby, but it's terrible now. I know you cannot take most meds while pg. Does anybody feel the same way? Most people say being pg is awesome. Having a baby will be awesome, but growing one -- not so much. they say it's normal to be tired, but I can sleep 24/7. My stomach always hurts -- and that, alone is depressing. Additionally, I'm extremely short with almost everyone. Good moments are few and far between. I can see that I'm this way, but i want to make a change. The last two times, it lasted the entire pregnancy. Please, responses only from those who have been there. Thanks
