I too am 35, tubes tied and wanting a child. It is a very expensive proceedure and depending upon the condition of your tubes, may or may not be successful. There are doctors out there that garuantee success, and will set up a payment plan with you. I have spoken with several doctors and they say age is not a factor. One doctor said he had success with a reverse tubal ligation on a fifty year old woman!!! The problem, of course is coming up with the money, which is anywhere from $6,000 to $20,000!

First and foremost, who gives a rat's behind what your husband wants unless it is what you want. If you allow him to force you to become pregnant and you aren't sure, you will resent him from now on. If you really want a child, (and it sounds to me like you don't but that he's holding some threat above your head) why don't you consider adoption? I am not a doctor, so you should talk to your gynecologist. If you've have clamps placed on the tubes, they can be removed and there is a chance for pregnancy. If they've done a tubal ligation and removed a section, cauterized the ends, then it becomes more difficult. Your doctor can give you the best answers.

My sister-in-law had hers untied and she was 39 years old, her doctors said she was OK too try and they would keep a eye on her if she did get pregnant because of her age she was considered high risk. But it was costly and she went to a fertility specialist, but she couldn't get pregnant because my brother sperm stop swimming to put it in a nice way. Make sure you have your husband tested for that before spending a lot of money for nothing. Good Luck.
