I have lost track of when my period is due, but it seems like it has been quite a while since, around 5 weeks. I have recently been experiencing strange stuff like heartburn, pain in only one breast, cramps (like period pain) but no bleeding. I took a hpt yesterday but it said it was negative. It was only 7 days ago that my partner and i had sex, is it to soon to tell?

I think your pregenant too, just buy one of the self test kits to find out for sure, they are pretty cheap.

You may be. Yes, it is too soon for home test to tell. Act as if you are, you know, no smoking or drinking, and wait a week and test again. If you still haven't started, go to your family doctor. He can run a blood test and know for sure. Sometimes you can have the symptoms of pregnancy just because you are worried about it, or hoping for it. The EPT test is supposed to work 10 days after your missed period, so you are not there yet.

If you don't want to get pregnant, don't have sex. If you go ahead and have sex in spite of common sense, then make him wear a rubber or you need to go on the pill.

If you think you let yourself get knocked up, go see a doctor to administer a test.

If you cannot afford to go to the doctor and you end up pregnant, put the baby up for adoption immediately since you are obviously unable to provide for the baby that's coming.

See a doctor, girl! It doesn't matter whether it's pregancy or not. If things aren't normal and you're experiencing pain, then you need to get it checked out.

I'm gonna guess that it is too early to tell. My test came out negative, but I waited one week and it was positive. Be patient and try to get your mind off of it. ---impossible, I know
