This includes me. It struck me today that we talk a lot on here about hoping to become pregnant or what it's like when you're anxious about becoming pregnant but we don't really discuss what is feels like when all attempts sadly fail.

Personally, I've got over the upset and look forward to the day again but I don't think that people realise just how bad it can be if they haven't been there and I think, as with a lot of subjects on here, there would be many people who would be at least curious to see things from our perspective. I'm not saying we need sympathy but I would like to here from other people out there who are in the same position as myself and how you feel about it. I still feel that in some situations it can take real bravery to admit it and talk about it and other times you can still feel cheated. Do you agree?

I would be glad to here from anybody, with or without children, really out of curiosity to see how we all feel about this and how it affects lives

I should have ovulated on Saturday Sunday Or Monday. Had sex Friday, Sunday & Monday. Today feeling very very tired, very nauseated, aversions to smell (that's what's making me nauseated) and a little bit of nipple tenderness.

we read every night and he goes to a learning day care but some times he makes like alomst a animal sound and i cant figure out what he wants or anything he says now momma dadda fank you ( i think is thank you and sounds a car makes and hi and buh bye but thats all he can baby sign please more and all done and buh bye I am worried any ideas i would be grateful

I am feeling a little angry today towards the way things work. Let me try to sum this up, I was a smoker, thought I was pregnant took a test, came out negative. 3 weeks later I found out I was pregnant, so I had been smoking that whole time, quit the day I found out. My son was born with a heart defect. Every other person I know smoked throughout their whole pregnancy and had healthy babies. That doesnt make sense. I wouldnt even go to a place where people smoked. How are you supposed to stop doing these things if you cant even know your pregnant until your a month or more along? I feel like this is my fault but what could I have done? UUUUGGGHHH!! Just having a bad day I think.

I just found out yesterday that I am pregnant with my first child. We got pregnant through In Vitro Fertilization. I am currently taking my progestrone shots. My doctor told me that I have to take them until I am 8 weeks along. I don't go back to the doctor until November 8th. I have checked out a few websites and can't find this answer. Some websites say that I should calculate how far along I am from the date that the embryos were implanted into my uterus. Other websites day that I should calculate from the date of the retrieval of the eggs. And other websites say that I should calculate from the first day of my last period. Has anyone who has gotten pregnant through IVF know this answer? The shots are uncomfortable and painful and I can't wait for them to be over.

okay, I am 39 weeks pregnant and I plan on getting an epidural when I go into labor but I have some questions about it. For those of you who had one what were your contractions like before the epidural and then after, like a comparison. Also I have heard that if you move wrong that it can paralyze you...is this true? at what point should I ask for one? and lastly would you do it again?

Two months ago I messed up on my pills. I forgot to take Thursday & Fridays pills so on Saturday I took 3 pills. Then on Sunday I forgot and on Monday I took two. I know I should not have done this but the within the next two weeks I had my period & it lasted for about 4 days. I have not had one since. I figured it up and I was due on the 9th of October but nothing yet....do you think it's possibly that I may be pregnant?

Why is that some women who are against abortion are against the idea of women using government resources such as WIC? I mean they say women shouldn't get abortions, that they'll be killing their babies... so when some women who would get an abortion because they can not raise a baby because of a lack of money don't and now need assiantance why do they have to then be called names for making the choice to keep their baby? I know some women on this site feel that way because of their answers and I just don't get it... Someone PLEASE make it clearer...

I'am 18 years old, and I kind of made a mistake one night.My body has been changing drastically ever since then, My nipples are enlarged , my breast are sore, I have bee feeling nauseated lately and I have been having brown discharge, my stomach hurts after I eat. Before my husband and I got married, and for the first few months of our marriage, he was always willing to talk about our "future children" and he said that he wanted to have 3 or 4 kids. Then, one day, out of the blue, he all of a sudden refuses to talk about having children, and he says he NEVER wants children. Any time I try to talk about it he gets angry and leaves the room and won't even discuss it with me. I have tried asking him what happened to make him not want children anymore, but he always just says "I don't know" and gets mad that I'm trying to bring up the subject. I have even provided reasons for him as to why he might not want kids...I ask "Are you worried about being a good father?" "Are you worried about money?" "Do you just not like kids" He won't answer....he always says "that could be part of it" or "i don't know". It is so frustrating that I can't even get him to TALK about it with me. He says there is no reason to talk. Please someone tell me what to do!
