It will depend on where she is going, who with and will they be picked up if she is just hanging around then a resonable time is 10-10.30pm on weekends and 9.30pm on a school night if she is going to a party and being droped of midnight will be safe

Where are they going & what are they doing (this is a must know!!)? Who is providing the transportation? Is your daughter trustworthy? Generally, I would say no later than 9 on a school night and possibly 10 on Friday/Saturday depending on what they were doing. **Note: if they are going to like a 9:15 show it is not possible to be in by 10 but you could tell her she has to go to the earlier show. I would also make it clear that if she becomes uncomfortable or gets seperated from her friends that she should call you immediately so you can come get her (old saying, always have a quarter to call mom). Maybe give her your cell phone for the night--- keep communication open.

I'm 14, an Aussie, and my curfew is 10:30. I call or text him and that's when my dad will come and pick me up, or my friend's parents and they will either drop me off at my place or I'll go back to their place and stay the night. My dad is cool with any of that stuff; he trusts me enough. Plus I live in a town not city so I don't have too much to worry about cuz it's not huge and there's no druggies bums or pimps around. Plus it doesn't HAVE to be 10:30, if I go clubbing and I get tired he will come to pick me up whenever. I can't go out without my mobile phone though, that's pretty much the only rule, cuz he has to be able to contact me at all times.

I have a 13 year old and I am a pretty cool mom, but I would still want to know where she was going and with whom. Most of all she would have to have her cell with her and I would say by 11 pm if it's not a school night. You all deserve some freedom to live and learn too.....

I all depends on you and your friends. It also depends on whether you tell your folks exactly where you will be on your night out. Are you a good student? Do you work part time? Are you active in sports? Do you have friends with the same qualities? The more reliable and responsible you are...the later you will be allowed to stay out.

No later than 6 pm when she is without me...and that's when the daughter is good. I'd make her keep a cell phone and let me know where she is at all times. When she is with me, then I'd have no problems.
And I'm a 15 year old responding to your question.

She's at that age were you have to tag along but not really tag along. You know almost unnoticed. the time that makes you feel comfortable and less antsy is the time you should pick.
