Baby is so low - I can no longer put my legs together. Sunday, bad case of braxton-hicks. Monday - braxton-hicks stronger. Tuesday, strongest braxton-hicks contractions that stoppped about mid day. Last night, I had bad lower back pain. This morning, I feel prefectly fine. Is there a such thing as "the calm before the storm" when it comes to labor? Just wanna be prepared.

Seven years ago I had a similair thing happen to me. I had bad pain on a Friday night called the doctor and they told me to come in. Got there and the pain stopped early Saturday morning. Pain free all day they were talking of sending me home on Sunday morning. I was feeling just great then late Saturday night I went into full blown labor and delivered on Sunday morning.

So, I guess what I'm saying is...yes this could be the calm before the storm so to speak.

With my first pregnancy I had bad braxton-hicks. But then my labour was fine not much pain at all. It is just up to the person to how much pain you can stand. I think. Sorry it doesn't sound right. I know what I want to say just can't put it in the words.

Every woman differs with how they feel prior to giving birth. You will have different emotions as you near closer.

I'm 33 weeks with twins, lost my plug, have had all of what you're having - and for the most part, I'm calm too. Until I get a contraction again, and then I panic and start cleaning some more.

Can't really comment on this as i was induced and the only way i could describe it was fast and furious although was worth it. I think in a funny kind of way the pain is an enjoyable pain. though sounds like not long for you. hope it all goes well for you

I have heard of this. Not only do you feel fine but you get heaps of energy too. I started cleaning like mad, I was so busy that I didnt even realise that the butterflies in my stomach was actually my first stage of labour. Goodluck, not long to go now.

hmm you may be getting close. The night before I went into labor, the bh's literally stopped and I had back cramps. (even more weird I felt this pop on my belly, like i had popped my back... really weird)
then probably the next afternoon the contractions started ;.
