If I decide to runaway from home, even just for a little bit, will you take me so far away from these rotten, uncontrollable children, that I can't hear them saying things like, "I'm hungry." "I need ten bucks for library fees." "I'm failing Biology." or "I don't want to go to school today."
Two days is all I really need... THREE days. Three days is all I really need.

Look in your phone book under Social Services and call someone. Most cities have an emergency service that will take your kids some place. It is not like foster care and you would not be giving your children up, it is to be used as a safe "time out" for moms who are just burned out. That sounds like what your problem is.
I speak from experience, I raised 5 children, more or less alone and I do know how hard it can be.
Don't do anything crazy like abandoning them! That will have legal consequences.

go in your bathroom tell your husband to watch the kids .LOCK the door an take a long hot bubble bath. put some music on so you dont have to hear them banging on the door. Or just go out window shopping alone. Take a day for yourself. Get your hair & nails done stay the night at a friends house.An just get away for a bit .
