Why do people think it is ok to come on here and criticize people who are just wanting some real advice. I don't understand. Is it cause they are jealous or they just don't understand that people asking a question are only wanting advice on that question. They don't want to hear if YOU think what they choose to do with their life is wrong or not. Do you agree that people should be a little less judge mental. Just cause you can't do it or haven't done it who says your right?

I just get upset with people on her jumping down other people about what they choose to do with their life. Like they have the right to tell people that they are living their life wrong and they are living right. When no one's life is ever the same. So who are they to say that You are doing wrong because they wouldn't do it that way. What makes them right?

Let me add this is in response to some of the answers over just because someone wanted to stop breastfeeding she got some down right wrong things told to her. Like she shouldn't be breastfeeding someone you can have a converstation with. Like a 13 month old can have a real converstation with anyone.

Well......

First, some things ARE right. If I get on here and see a question saying "Will drinking my beer actually hurt my 3-year-old?" then, yeah, that person deserves a good talking-down, because they are idiots.

I do agree, though, that for the majority of people, honest, innocent questions should be handled with dignity. There are definately times in parenting, in particular, that the "obvious" answer just doesn't come to you, either from sleep deprivation, stress, or just lack of experience. (I'm thinking of myself forgetting you have to burp a baby, and wondering why my 4-day-old was miserable....)

Also, for some reason, mommies get their claws out over SOOOO many issues, and if you consider that there's only one right way to do things, if you don't insist someone do things your way, by default, your way is wrong. And no one wants to be wrong.

For some reason, the people in the world charged with the most difficult job, of being moms, can be the most cruel to other moms. So we get women accusing other women of not being good mothers or not caring about thier children, just because things are done differently.

Whether a woman nurses or not is not a reason to talk down to her.
Whether a woman works outside the home is not a reason to talk down to her.
Whether a woman sends her children to preschool is not a reason to talk down to her.
Whether a woman chooses cloth or disposable diapers, a crib or family bed, home-cooked meals or frozen dinners, all reasons women turn into an uglier version of the "mean girls" we were in high school, all stupid reasons to get that way.

There are women out there seriously neglecting their children, putting them in dangerous situations, and physically beating them. There are women out there belittling their children for every single thing, almost certainly harvesting emotionally unstable adults, and here we are, with our claws out, over whether to feed kids organic vegetables or not.

GET A GRIP WOMEN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i semi agree. If the person puts out the info to the public then they should expect what ever comes at them good or bad. I don't agree that people get judged on things but we have all done it. I'm sorry but if someone tells their story and it is plain out wrong, I will tell them it's wrong. Just one question though, why is it anytime someone disagrees with someone they are jealous? I personally am not jealous of a woman that has an affair and gets pregnant and doesn't tell her husband it isn't his kid and I've already breast fed my kids so I wouldn't be jealous over someone who still is nor would I have been back when I was nursing.. Just examples there. We all tend to judge, it's human nature and we've all been judged. When it comes to the internet, get over it. It isn't your real life.

In general people here try to be understanding even when some of the questions seem silly or irresponsible. There are a few people who can be rude or judgemental but you'll find that anywhere. Some people just get irritated when they keep seeing the same questions over and over again every day.

When someone posts a question on here, they should know everyone is going to have there own opinion. Whether it makes them mad or not, or is the right answer. On a public site like this, everyone is entitled to their own opinion. Im not taking up for people, because there are a LOT of rude comments on here, but people should just learn to ignore it and move on. if people get so heartbroken over comments, maybe they shouldnt post questions.

what are you referring to?
I just read you last question sweetie, and if you're getting so mad at how people are treating you on-line, people that don't matter, that have no real say in your life...than why let people that you have history with, do the same thing?
Women don't realize how much power they have...how much they are worth...we don't deserve to be treated like dirt. And Yet WE allow it. I'll admit, I had to train my hubby some on how to treat me, not only as a woman, but as his wife, and the mother of his daughter.
Don't let people get you down. Live, Laugh, Love!

there are alot of people here on answers that have a totally dumb political agenda, or have a hate agenda, or are trying to get the world to do their college grade homework for them, or are simply trying their best to come up with the most sick, perverted shock they can think of. At this time these people are now outnumbering the people like you or I that are here for real answers, posing real questions to make people think, or just have some innocent fun. those same people that are tryint to wreck answers also need points to continue, so they spread the hate and hurt further by answering your questions with what you have got. if you get some hateful sarcastic drivel, report it. enough reports and they get tossed off answers.

I agree. There is nothing wrong with someone asking a question. They shouldn't be judged on that alone.
