Alright, I've seen everyone talking about having sex, And how orgasams can help naturally induce labor, I was wondering..
Would a self induced orgasam provide the same effect?
And what is it about the orgasam itself, That helps to induce labor, Is it because of all the muscles contracting?!?!?

It is not the orgasim when you have sex it is the sperm that breaks down you membranes to your cervix. my daughter is living proof that having sex and walking will make you go into labor

I've heard the same thing, but it's not the orgasm that puts you into labor, it's the sperm!! Also the exercises during sex that has a lot to do with it. While the endorphins released during an orgasm are good for the baby, it will NOT induce labor!!!

I would say that a naturally induced orgasim would have similiar affects but when making love or having sex...many different muscles are at work.....which may have a significant effect for inducing labor.
Walking is thought to bring on labor also.....but not as fun if you ask me!! =0)

I went on a bumpy car ride. (Not too rough though) Also, I had sex a lot with my fiance and after about two days and five or six tries I went into labor. Good luck! Also, walk everywhere you go if possible.

The best advice I ever got on inducing labor is the night before your due date, get down on your hands and knees and scrub your kitchen floor. I went into labor with my first baby at midnight of his due date, and had my daughter one day before her due date. I've also heard that raspberry tea, fresh cilantro (gross), and balsamic vinegar work. I didn't try sex, I was too sick from being pregnant to feel amorous! I've heard its the sperm that stimulates, though. I'd go with the scrubbing.

Self induced or with apartner makes no difference. Its partly the muscle contractions and partly the hormones which are released during orgasm.

I tried this- it didn't work. You could try nipple stimulation( with a breast pump), walking, long car drives on bumpy roads.

No!!!!!!! Doctors agree that after your 7th month, this could harm your baby. Just think if you were your baby, would you like this?
