wow...your getting ripped off! if they had to take them to day care it would cost them 150 each! I'd raise your price and sit down and talk to them about the situation. let them know you are not happy . just because you are babysitting doesn't mean you have to be a prisoner in their house. there needs to be some flexibility on their part as well as yours. in a way I understand where they are coming from...they are concerned for their children's welfare and safety, but if they trust you you should be able to at least go to your own apartment.

I would not want my child care provider running around in a car with my child either...that doesnt sound out of line for the parents to ask that.
If you are doing child care in THEIR home and only getting $150 weekly, yes, you are gravely underpaid.
HOWEVER, you made a comitment, if you are planning to quit let them know that you feel it would be better if they looked for someone else to start caring for the kids in the next few weeks. Though it sounds like you are being taken advantage of, you need to consider child care is a huge responsiblity.

Wow-- you are making about $3 an hour. Can you find a better job? If so, then I would recommend giving your two weeks notice. If not, keep being nice to the girls so that they will be nicer to you as they grow up.

I'd say it's good pay, but it sucks that you can't take the kids to the park or take them over to your apartment, i'd talk with the parents about how you are feeling and go from there, but i'd want to be able to take the kids out!

That is what one year olds do. Doesnt sound bad to me, but If you got a normal job being payed minimum wage after taxes and stuff, it would probably be around the same amount.
