I loved mexican too... it's fine to eat as long as you CAN eat it... I can't eat it anymore... also, watch out for seafood, and any pinkish meat... make sure your burgers are cooked 100%... and no dairy products that are unpasteurized. Also no meat from the deli... yep. I think that's all... good luck!

Don't eat soft cheeses. They may contain Listeria bacteria. Also, no sushi. Tuna and other large fish because of the mercury. Mexican food is fine, but you will probably have heartburn later in your pregnancy. Go online to American Baby or Baby Center and sign up, they have tons of info.

Light tuna fish from a can in a moderate amounts is perfectly safe for you and your baby because there isn't enough mercury in it to cause harm. In fact, canned tuna fish is a good way to get Omega 3, which might be prescribed to you with your prenatal meds.

Tuna--don't eat Tuna!

I heard it has mercury in it & if you eat enough of it it could be damaging to your baby!!

Don't know if it is an old wives tale or not, but I didn't risk it with my 2 kids!

Mexican food should be fine!
