I had picked out the name Makayla for a girl but my cousin just had her baby Friday & named hers Makayla. My husband & I were very partial to this name being that my husband's name is Michael. We've had that name picked out for a good while. I hadn't told my cousin I liked that name because I hardly see her & we aren't close anymore. Should I still use it?
What are some good names that go with Alliyah or Alyssa?
For boy names we like Jayden Scott or Ryan Scott, what do you think?

I have breastfed two babies for 4 1/2 months each and in each instance have lost weight, then started to gain because my metabolism just caused me to be extra hungry.

My man has 3 children that range from 8-14 (1 girl and 2 boys). Their mom isn't helping them with homework or any of life's choices. All three of them come to me with their questions because they say their mom will hit them or cuss at them if they ask her questions like these. Their father will not try to get custody of them for fear of making their mom mad. My children are straight A students and always ask and confide in me. What can I do to help them? I want them to succeed in school and in life but since I am not a guaridan or their parent, I guess I can't do anything legally. What can I do? One more thing, when I tell their mom that they have questions for her or I try to help without stepping on her toes she gets offended. So far I have backed off and not tried to help unles the kids ask, which they do every day. Please tell me what kind of options I have and how I can try to help them.

I'm 6 months pregnant and recently went to the doctor. The midwife said I had gained too much weight. I supposively have gained 20lbs already but don't feel like it. If you don't know me then you would never even know I was pregnant. I'm really not showing that much. I don't know how much I weighed pre pregnancy but I wore a size 6 or 8. I'm having a hard time adjusting to any weight gain and by her saying that has made me paranoid and upset. I thought I was doing good. Does anyone have a similar experience or any advice?

If a woman has nice abs and she becomes pregnant, what happens to those abs? I've always wondered that. Do they soften? Does the growth of pregnancy hurt women with strong abs by stretching them out?

I'm guessing my son (15 months old) has a staph infection along with a diaper rash and I'm taking him to the doc this afternoon. There's no doubt in my mind that he caught it from daycare. I don't believe his teacher wears gloves when she changes the toddlers diapers. How do I convice her to wear them without sounding annoying or rude? Should I confront her first or go strait to the daycare director? She's a really nice girl and my son and I like her, but this can't happen again. Please give me your advice.
Thank you

who will be going to jail, and moving across the country, with grandparents they don't even know? Do I tell my 9 year old why daddy went to jail. He already is aware that dad has a problem with alcohol and marijana, though I have been very careful to sheild him from the extent of it. Please don't be rude, this is hard enough as it is. I just need some advice on how and what to tell my kids.

I have two daughters who were both born by necessary ceseareans. I have since divorced and am seriously dating again. I would like to have more children one day and I was wondering if there was a limit on how many c-sections a woman could have in her lifetime? I had heard somewhere that three (3) was the most a woman's body can handle? Is this true or does anyone have a story to contradict this theory?
