First off, I think that is a wonderful idea. Kids need to stay organized and a nice list of chores would help them see what needs to be done. Here are some I found, I hope they help!

The best place online I have found is www.chorebuster.net. This is great because you can enter ALL the chores in the house that need to be done and who is able or isn't able to do them. It will then make a weekly chart for you and email it to you and/or anyone else on the chore chart. If you have little kids (I do) get a dry erase board and fill in the chores each week when they change and put a DONE box by it so they can mark it when they are done.

Happy to help!

You can make your own. At least that's what I do. I just took a piece of poster board and wrote down the chores like take out the trash, feed the cats, and make your bed. Then I got it laminated at office max--for about a dollar. Now we can write on it every week and just erase it when we are done to start a new week. It's fun and it gets pretty colorful.

If you are looking for one on the computer--if you have Microsoft Works Task Launcher do a search for "Chores"--the template should pop up. I think it's tons more fun being able to draw on the calender and have fun with it. It seems to make tasks easier. I even have one for myself and husband!

As for all the other people who were rude (below me) I doubt she's making her kids as slaves. My chore board are fun and keep me sane. This way I don't forget to tell my five year old to do something. It's important for kids to have expectations and responsibilities. Like I said before my stuff is the basic of things--feed the cat, brush your hair, brush your teeth, make your bed, clean up your toys, etc. It's not like she said "Well--I want my kids to vacuum the whole house everyday, then I want them to detail the car, then I want them to dust, then I want them to scrub the bathroom down with a toothbrush and then I think I'll force them to bathe me." She was merely asking a question. Some people are rude!

Chore boards?? Wow I have four kids and never had done that! Anyhow try a spread sheet program I have microsoft task launcher and you can make anything on that. Or you could draw your lines out on paper with a ruler and make copies of it. Try your local dollar store they might have some thing to use if you make it your self.

Make your own. Go to a craft store with your children and pick out paper and lots of stickers. They'll have fun with their involvement.
