There's a big age difference between my husband and me. He's 30 and i'm only 18. Is it too soon to start a family? Or will it be too late for him to have kids if we wait a couple of years? What do you think?

My baby is 10mths old, he has alwys slept through the night, even when teeth have come through. He has started waking from 11.00pm for 2 hours and will on;ly settle with a bottle. I've tried feeding him more at mealtimes and giving him supper but nothing is working. Any suggestions?

I'm interested to know at what age people introduced solids to their baby. My son is now 21 wks and due to a slow weight gain my health vivitor said it may be an idea to start him on baby rice soon. Also, what made you start when you did?

I know that it's common for children to bully other children in school. My mother has had this dilemma with my little brother being bullied before. What do you parents do to teach your children how to handle bullies? On the one hand, you don't want to teach them to be violent or engage in fighting, but on the other hand, you don't want to totally handicap them, so that they won't be able to survive, or will seem like an easy target to bullies. How do you teach them to defend themselves, and avoid them being labeled a "wuss" (only word I could think of), while at the same time, showing them that fighting is not always the answer?

My Girlfriend threw a birthday party for her son at my house, was supposed to go good but to make a long story short my family came and it was the first time she had met any of them including my mom since the pregnancy, She was really "sick" and didn't even move the entire time, she said hi to them but they felt as if she disrespected them because she only really said Hi and had no conversation I really can't say why it went like this but this is her second pregnancy and she says its been 10 times as worse as the first, so she is really up and down all the time and the day of the party happened to be one of the really down days, my family feels like i shouldn't be with her and says they all got really bad vibe from her, could this just be hormones and a bad pregnancy or are they telling me the right thing?

I chose to come off the pill before my ex husband and I decided to have my daughter (she's 5 now) because the pill turned me in to a blubbering psycho. After Katie I had the coil fitted and have suffered with periods and pain from hell every month. My Family Planing clinic suggested Mirena. I had it fitted on 2/10/06 and I'm still spotting and cramping, which I belive is the norm, but this last week I have been snappy, irratable, moody, crying at loo roll adverts, snapping at my boyfriend for helping me and at my daughter, the poor loves dont know what's up with me. I'm not stressed or troubled, in fact life is great. I know that the hormone in Mirena is low but maybe its not agreeing with me?! I really want to shout, scream and cry at everyone right now and I feel like I'm loosing my grip on reality!!! Can any one help... Please

My son goes to school, kinda like a head-start program. He goes for 3 hours in the morning. He hasn't biten any kids it's only the teachers. He's usually not like this at all. He does try to bite us at home when he gets frustraited or upset or even when he's just overly happy. They said he doesn't bite all the time just sometimes, so they know he's not always like that. I just get worried that they won't like him & they might start treating him badly. What kinda of actions can I take to get him to stop?

Me and my fiance had unprotected sex 2 days before my ovulation. I have been off birth control pill for a little over a month. We werent actually trying to get pregnant, we just kind of got caught in a moment, but we have both talked about it and would both be very happy if I am pregnant. What are the chances that I got pregnant from that time? How soon can I test to find out? I know that I dont want to test too early and get disappointed but it is hard to wait until my period is supposed to be here.

from the last 2 days its stomach ache or feels like it is full or i hve eaten which is not going down. i have take all gasteric liquid but nothing is working out As we are trying to conceive , we just have tried 3 times from last 9 oct. last day of my period .

Our 9-mo old baby boy almost always refuses solids served by us on spoon, and the only spoon-fed solid he'll sometimes eat is oatmeal. He just wants his formula, or if offered a solid like bread he might take it & nibble a little if he can grab it & feed it to himself but no way will he let you stick a spoon in his mouth. Give him a solid on spoon & he'll scream, cry, spit it out. It's no use. Sometimes he cries when just sees his bowl. I say just mix some oatmeal in with his formula & he'll one day be ready for solids on his own - the torture of being shown solids right now can't be good for him either. I know all the books say a baby should be eating this by that date, etc., but I tell my wife you don't see unweaned 20-yr olds walking around w/giant bottles, so one day our boy will be ready too. Am I right in saying don't worry & don't push the solids? (I'm kind of the same way in that I don't like new foods & am content eating the same thing every day, and I'm healthy)

I'm starting to wonder if I might be pregnant. Friday 10/6 was my last day of a horrible job, and I guess hubby and I kind of got carried away with the celebration that weekend. We had sex four times between Friday and Sunday. We use condoms for birth control, but I think a little semen might have spilled when he was pulling out one of the times. On Tuesday, my breasts started feeling tender and swollen, and that has continued through today (Monday). I'm only a B cup, but my normal bras are tight, and I've had to sleep in sports bras to keep the girls from flopping around painfully. I started feeling really tired on Thursday. I actually told my husband that I thought I was getting a cold. Yesterday evening I had a tiny bit of pink spotting that has now completely stopped. My last period started on September 23. I'm pretty regular, so I know that my next one is due Oct. 20-22

So I know I have a bunch of the symptoms, but I guess it could be wishful thinking. When can I take a test?

I come off the pill 2 months ago after taking it for about 9 months and i have only had one period since wich was was a week after i come off it, does this mean ther is something wrong or does it take a good wile b4 i will b regular again? i was irregular b4 i even started the pill,,,im 19yrs old.

My sister in law is pregnant and she is always stressed, crying and depressed, She and my brother are always fighting and screaming, he tries to ovoid it because he knows is bad for her but that makes her even more mad, she has been always like this. I am trying for a baby, the first day of my last period was Oct the 5th which lasted 5 days (including the 1st day of the 5th) I have had sex 3 times since then unprotected as I am trying, my breasts are sore, I feel a bit sick but not enough to want to be sick and my tummy is very bloated could I be pregnant and is it to early ot do a home test??
