I'm trying to get pregnant.. I was running at the gym today and started getting cramps does that mean I'm going to start? I hope not.

I used to have to wear a backbrace for my scoliosis (curving of the spinal column), so it's a pretty severe case. I'm more terrified about having an epidural than the actual labor! I was thinking of going natural (which none of my friedns recommend), what would you suggest for pain relief?

I swear I have done EVERYTHING to get rid of lice in my 8 year old daughters hair. We have cut it shoulder length. I've tried all over the counter lice shampoos, combed out nits with the special comb, mayonaise, washed bedding, locked up stuff animals, bought new hair brushes, sprayed furniture and car with over the counter lice spray and her hair is clean from eggs/nits for like 2 weeks and then she gets them right back. What else can I do but shave her hair off?

I just recently quit my job, and pulled my daughter from daycare so I could stay at home with her before she starts school next year. To my surprise she has become extremely clingy & whiney. I'm finding it difficult to get anything done around the house. What do I do???? I don't want her to feel like I don't want to hold her and be with her, but I'm just not getting anything done!!! Help!!!

I am 26 years old & my fiance and I have talked alot about starting a family soon, but I'm terrified of the birth process (labor, etc). I've always wanted to be a mom and have children & I'm perfectly fine with pregnancy. But I am horrified about actually giving birth - i've heard nothing but terrifying stories about the pain. What can I do to get over my fear? I have no mother to ask and would really appreciate a response from those who have been there.

We've been married 4 months now, we want a baby so bad. We both just turned 20, own our own home, and have full time steady jobs. The thing is, he is starting college here this winter and I am going to be taking a couple of classes. Has anyone ever dealt with this before. We want a baby so bad! and really don’t want to wait! Can we do it all? Work, college and take care of a baby? Have you done this? How did it work out for you? I don't know how to deal with my baby fever!? Advise, thougths?

I need some ideas on toys for my son who is 4 1/2 months old. I stay at home with him and he gets lots of attention. But there are moments I need to do something. Like right now I've been trying to get ready to go to the store and he's just whining. He's in his exersaucer with a baby video in. Nothing keeps his attention for any length of time, even a few minutes. I know part of it is his age. Is there anything that has worked for anyone or am I just going to have to deal until he learns to play better with age (and when does that happen)?

Did anybody else get this just before labour starts, They are so uncomfortable, i have been getting them all day but they keep going off and coming back on again so i know it's not the really thing. I'm just getting really excited now about the baby coming and stuff. It's my third baby. They do feel a bit like the realy thing, the only way i know it's not real labour is because they aren't regular. I just wondered if anyone else had this and maybe it turned into labour

however my diet is not so good, I pretty much CAN NOT stand vegetables, and I like take out. The nurses last time said it is best to breast feed, so if I continued with my pre natal vitamins would that help, or with a poor diet such as mine should I stick to formula feeding?

My seven year old son is being phisically and emotionally bullied by a 5th grader. It is happening on the way to school and home, but not at school or on school ground because of the age difference. I use my laptop all the time for school and for work. I am in my first trimester and it just made me wonder if i might be causing hard to my baby. It seems like anything and everything is now cause for concern...or at least everyone seems to say so.....like is the gum I am chewing sugar-free...and if so or either way I could be causing fetal harm..... there is sooooo much information and misinformation out there and sooo many idiots with an opinion that it makes it hard not to fall victim to the bs sometimes. Now I had someone tell me I could cause fetal damage by using my laptop. So if there is any info on this please let me know. You know women have been having healthy babies since the beginning of time...I'm just sick to death of the unsolicited opinions of others considering most people have little or no education on the subject.

11 days ago i had unprotected sex, i was 2-3 days before ovulation (it really is a long story) im a pretty intuitive person and i feel pregnant. my breasts hurt and my nipples are a little darkish. i took a hpt this morning which read negative- yet even after the result i still feel pregnant. i just recently have gotten headaches- which is odd because i never get headaches. do you think the hpt was taken too soon? i have already thought of the possibility im making myself have symptoms at the thought of it but i have thought i was pregnant before and no matter how much i thought of it- i didnt get the symptoms. the only times i really felt pregnant was when i was- i miscarried but now i feel that way again. im touching my stomach more, eating a little healthier and trying very very hard to kick smoking to the curb for good. any advice?

I was wondering did u know anything about Low risk HPV? Me and my boyfriend really want to have a baby and i stop takin my birth control pills this month we want to try this week for one but i went to the doctor the doctor last week and she said that i have Low risk HPV and that he gave it to me because i had High risk before and it went away in April and then me and him start talkin. So she told us to start usein condoms again but we really want a baby. so is it safe since both of us have it to not use the condoms and try anyway?

I have a male friend matt i met the first day of college we became friends fast and i was considering dating him but my mom was not thrilled he was 22 years old so i told him we should just be friends.He also was still hung up over an ex.gf who cheated on him he seemed emotionally unstable and was constantly depressed. He told me he used to be addictted to drugs (meth) and was going to meetings. I started seeing someone else from one of my classes and started avoiding him not answering his calls and stuff. He still calls and wants to date me?I just dont like him the way he likes me but dont want to be mean ? Is it rong to still use mom as the excuse?I am 18 and i live at home.
