Did anybody else get this just before labour starts, They are so uncomfortable, i have been getting them all day but they keep going off and coming back on again so i know it's not the really thing. I'm just getting really excited now about the baby coming and stuff. It's my third baby. They do feel a bit like the realy thing, the only way i know it's not real labour is because they aren't regular. I just wondered if anyone else had this and maybe it turned into labour

Just to let you know it was labour, i gave birth to my baby girl Ella Rose at 10.23pm last night. She's perfect and beautiful!

You could be in the early stages of labour, time them and if they start getting closer and stronger, then get ready.

I would not say these are Braxton Hicks at this stage of your pregnancy. You are probably in the very early stages of labour. Contractions don't always follow the pattern of previous pregnancies and neither do they hit with regularity til labour is established. Get ready for the off!

I didn’t think mine were regular ever but they obviously were because when the midwife came out I was five centimetres dilated! Seems as though its your third baby you know what to do go have a warm bath and write down every twinge if the times are written down you may see a pattern emerging get plenty of rest whilst you still can have the midwifes number at hand and if you get really uncomfortable phone her, I don’t want to read about you having your baby in the toilet in some woman’s magazine in a few weeks!

Good luck it wont be long now.

to alleviate your tension appropriate away Can she understand she's pregnant: NO Can she truthfully have a favorable being pregnant attempt: confident She won't be able to probable understand she's pregnant, because of the fact that's way too early. She would be unable to take a attempt and get an precise consequence till a pair of week after her neglected era (which on the grounds that she became on it on the time, she has approximately yet another month in the previous she would have the ability to probable leave out it and get an precise analyzing) it rather is accessible that she rather have been given a favorable consequence, because of the fact of her era hormones her physique in all probability goofed. I actually had braxton hicks from about 20 weeks, but the baby was still two weeks late. So no, it doesn't mean you are going into labour, but it sound that you are full term anyway, so you should soon. Good luck, or congrats if it has already happened.

It can turn into labor. Braxton hicks are a way to start dialating. Just watch for regularity. Or water breaking. I had one then the other on both my girls in different orders. I perfer the water break first. There is no going back then. lol congrats

My niece had these, so did I. They went on for about 2 weeks. It's false labour apparently.

Try having warm baths and relax. Your body is getting ready for the real thing.

Best of luck x

you are very late in the pregnancy for these just to be Braxton-hicks contractions, you are probably going into early labor. start timing them, how often you are having them. unless your water breaks no need to rush over to labor and delivery yet. they will just tell you to walk the halls. you should just relax, talk a warm bath, and a walk, and keep counting those contractions, you just may have a baby tonight. :) p.s. need to get over to L&D when your contractions are 5-10 minutes apart.

Normally when you have a 'show' you know it's the real thing. Real labour, once it starts, the contractions get stronger and stronger with the time inbetween each contraction getting less and less. Believe me, you'll know when it's the real thing!!!
