Talk with your doctor to see if there are any medications to help minimize period pain without birth control. I'm sure if you inform your doctor that you're trying to become pregnant, he/she should be able to help you accomplish this without suffering until it happens. If not, the method you have chosen may work or you. The following information comes from the data sheet on the cerazette pill: Contraceptive protection may be reduced if more than 36 hours have elapsed between two tablets. If the user is less than 12 hours late in taking any tablet, the missed tablet should be taken as soon as it is remembered and the next tablet should be taken at the usual time. If she is more than 12 hours late, she should follow the same advice but also use an additional method of contraception for the next 7 days. If tablets were missed in the very first week and intercourse took place in the week before the tablets were missed, the possibility of a pregnancy should be considered.
Extensive epidemiological studies have revealed neither an increased risk of birth defects in children born to women who used OCs prior to pregnancy, nor a teratogenic effect when OCs were taken inadvertently during early pregnancy. Good luck!

Skipping pills will increase your chance of getting pregnant but it can be potentially harmful to the baby. I would do some research about getting pregnant while on the pill. It has been lead to miscarriages and problems with the fetus. I know that pregnancy does happen even when taking it regularly but doing it on purpose after knowing it can be harmful to a baby just doesn't seem right. Talk to your Dr.

Either take the pill regularly or stop all together, that is the best thing you can do for your body and/or a baby. I am sure the doctor would have suggestions for the pain.

If you're 21 and in lots of pain having your periods than I would suggest you see a gyno who has experience with unnatural pain. I'm 35 and went to docs for years who said so much pain was "normal" and I finally found a gyno who said it wasn't and I discovered I had endometriosis. 2 surgeries and a baby later I now have "normal" cramps. PLEASE check into your own body first. Being a mom is serious business.

21 is still very young, and there's no reason you need to be in a hurry for a child. Do you have your education, career, and marriage all sorted out already, because if you don't you are not looking to bear a child but to are more likely feeling the need to acquire a 'doll" to play mommy with to replace the other things you haven't developed yet and are therefore missing in your life!

Maybe you need to start taking your pills regularly. Or, if the pills are causing problems talk to your doctor about another pill.

stopping and starting your pill is not good for your health but this will increase your chances of getting pregnant the best way to get pregnant tho is to use no protection at all.
