I just recently quit my job, and pulled my daughter from daycare so I could stay at home with her before she starts school next year. To my surprise she has become extremely clingy & whiney. I'm finding it difficult to get anything done around the house. What do I do???? I don't want her to feel like I don't want to hold her and be with her, but I'm just not getting anything done!!! Help!!!

Here are several suggestions:
1) Make up a schedule. Put your tasks in one color and her activities in another. Find times where you both can cuddle and certain tasks/chores where she can "help" you and feel important.
2) If she has a lot of toys, you might want to sort through them and store some of them away in totes. When she gets bored with the toys in her room, she can exchange them for toys in the tote. This will keep her toys fun and new. It will also help keep her room and the rest of the house cleaner.
3) If you have cable/satelite TV, you should see if you get Noggin. Noggin is a wonderfully educational and entertaining. Most people would not suggest putting their kids in front of the TV, but some of these programs are very educational and my kids are picking up on the underlying messages/morals.
4) You might want to consider putting your daughter in a Mother's Day Out program two days a week. This would be like day care for her and it would give you a few hours where you could get done the things that are harder with little hands and feet in the way.

She needs your entertainment at least 20/7.

when she was in daycare, they played with her all day, now she does not have that. I would plan on spending my time devoted to her, and do chores during her nap time. This is what I do
