I had a c-section 3 years ago with my second child my insicion healed nicely but the area is still numb? My doctor told me the feeling will probably not return due to nerve damage. I wondered if anyone else has had the same problem.

My 12 year old can be a total brat. He lies about everything from brushing his teeth to doing his homework. He is failing several classes in school. He has gengivitis. I've invested $10K for Sylvan learning center (not working after a year), I spent $5K on braces for his crooked teeth and he refuses to brush them and now has gum disease. When confronted on any of these issues he becomes irate and dramatic. I have grounded him, taken away his tv, games etc but nothing seems to work. I picture his adult life involving one fast food job after another while he lives in filth. I don't believe in corporal punishment. What else is there?

I'm pregnant with my second child. I've also been in recovery from an eating disorder since may or june of this year. It was so worth it because I know that I'm setting the example as to how my daughter (and hopefully this one will be a girl too!) views herself and her role as a woman in this day and age. I've been doing really great with it. :)

It took a lot of time and hardwork. Mind you those of you who are about to post rude crap be aware that I was starved as a child, food was a reward or punishment, (reward being spoiled milk etc). I spent most of my childhood in foster care and just as of the past 2 years have I been able to confront the insane abuse i was subjected to.
I'm not too worried about gaining weight this time around.
I'm supposed to follow a strict meal plan and I know during pregnancy you have to eat like 300 extra calories. does anyone know of any websites that offer like, pregnancy meal plans that are good? Thanks so much!!!

I don't understand! My baby is 9 months old and nothing has really changed in her eating habits. But all of the sudden I have to pump daily just to relieve the pressure! What causes increased milk supply?

He doesn't try to take his clothes off by himself, only his socks and shoes. This is my first child, so I don't know when to expect him to be ready. Most people are telling me that he is too young, but he is extremely intelligent in other areas. He names off many animals, says well over 60 words, puts together 3 word sentences and can count to three. We have the potty chair in the bathroom and he will occasionally go in and sit on it briefly when his daddy is in there. How do I start encouraging him to try it without being pushy?

My fiance and I are trying to figure out what his rights may be as a father but of course there is not much information (that I can find) to assist him with this. I was wondering if anyone may know where to go?

My grandson has taken to hitting his teacher when he does not like something. Also, the neighbor shot his dog for barking (the dog was shot in the ear and is alright), and my grandson told his teacher that he was going to shoot her with a gun. The principal spoke to my daughter today and we are at our wits end. We do not hit each other and we have even gone to (what I think is extreme, but maybe not...), not letting him watch Sylvester or any of the old standby cartoons that have hitting etc. He watches Little Bear and Tonka Truck Adventures on DVD and has very little television. Where could he be getting this? Have to mention that this is his first year with other children in a 2 day a week pre school. We thought he needed to be around other children taking orders from teachers after watching him at a week long summer camp.

What would be the best way to curb this hitting and talk?

Why is my Mom so distant to my kids? My mom recently moved to our state with my older sister and her kids... At first my kids were very excited because they never had a grandparent figure in their lives.. (My dad died before I got married, and my husband's parents are overseas)My mom also lived overseas before she came to U.S.A to live with my sister..she adores her kids, brags about her other granchildren overseas, and is extremely distant to mine..I've spoken to her about it. My little girls are honor students, extrmely humble and have quite a low self esteem as a result of all of this.I try hide it from them.. but they still feel it I buy gifts for them and pretend they're from grandma..My problem is quite unique..I don't talk about it to other people . What should I do?

Does this sound normal? Nothing has gone as planned in this pregnancy, so I figure this is just another symptom that i did not feel with my girls? THis boy kicks all the time. None stop. Enough that I have Braxton Hicks Contractions already. Well I have had them since I was 16 weeks. What do you think????

My 9 month old is so hard to get to sleep and has always been. I'm exhausted and want him to sleep. He wakes up very easily to sounds and it is so hard to get him back to sleep. Sometimes when I think he is sleeping, I start to walk away and he wakes up crying and then sits down. I tried to let him cry it out but he gets hystarical. Sometimes when I go back in and lay him down he falls asleep but then wakes up again. He usually goes to bed between 9 pm and then wakes up at about 1-3 am, takes a bottle and then sleeps (sometimes that takes another 45 min) until 7 am. Should I continue feeding him at night? I tried not to and getting him back to sleep is horrible... worse then with the bottle. Any ideas?
