Congratulations on the big step! Your mom's period has been coming for many, many years so her body's used to it, whereas yours isn't. If you are feeling light headed and/or you're bleeding a lot (like through pads within an hour or so), or have seriously bad cramping, then maybe see your doctor but I think you should be fine. Every woman's period is different and it will change throughout your life as well. PS. Also, it doesn't have anything to do with the heat.

Doctors determine conception dates and due dates by the first day of your last period which you say was September 10th, if that is so then you are only about 5 weeks pregnant. If you are really confused then you should definitely ask your doctor.

You got pregnant probably 2-3 weeks ago, but they count the weeks prior to conception, so the answer would be five. When you have your first ultrasound, they'll probably change it. If you ovulate at a time other than two weeks after your period, the due date will change to reflect reality.

You should have just pasted the 5 week mark. Each Sunday starts a new week. You conceive week 2 after your period. So you count those 2 weeks plus the 2 weeks after you conceive. to make 4 weeks and that was a week ago.

Don't know, did you find out if you were pregnant or not? If you know you are pregnant then you usually ovulate 14 days before your next period so figure out when your next period was suppose to start and go back 14 days and then you'll see about how many weeks pregnant you are.

If you finished your last period on Sept. 9th and started your new cycle on the 10th, you are in your 6th week of pregnancy.
Congrats.
