No
Birth is only the start of the journey, and once your child is there you will realize that it is not that important how the got there, but that they are there.
I gave birth naturally, and am glad that I did, but would still have my girl even if I knew before hand that I needed a c-section.
So take the plunge!

Your body was designed for birthing babies!
The reason the c/s rate in this country is so high is because women allow too many routine interventions and drugs and inductions and such which cause a cascade of interventions and lead to a c/s. The odds are good that, as long as you are healthy, you should not have any problems having a vaginal birth.

Read some good books on pregnancy and birth:

IT is very hard to be sure. They may be able to tell if you will never be able to have a natural child birth, but sometimes complications set in during the pregnancy that cause the need for a C-section. I have a friend that has two kids and it was not until after she went into labor that they realized that she needed surgery both times the first time it was because the babies heart slowed to much.
best bet is have an appointment with your doctor and a OBGyn

Well when you get pregnant u go in thinking that your going to have a natural birth but if there are complications then you may need a ceserean section but you should be optimisitic and hope for natural but if there is nothing wrong with a c-section as long as you deliver a healthy baby thats all that should matter

I trust every physique yet Melissa you have not any theory what you assert. I paintings with a lot of people from Mexico, Honduras, The Philipines, and others. they at the instant are here legally and did not whinge approximately how long it took to alter right into a citizen. although they are Engineers and making extra desirable than $5.00 and not cooking for us, they did it the properly suited way. The paintings confusing for what they have and pay taxes, they dont assume something from us. So why are you able to sit down down here and used this terrible language whilst obviousley you have not finished your examine yet i'm attempting to make your concepts up how this individual have been given here in the 1st place. every physique is stable yet i'm not asserting something.

No, of course not.

I have a very normal pregnancy and always think I would deliver normal, but my baby's heartbeat had a sudden drop while I was in the hospital and I had an emergency c-section. Who can predict that?

I dont think they can tell before delivery. My first 2 pregnancies were natural and when I was pregnant with my daughter she would not turn I was scheduled to hve a c-section on Monday well guess what she turned on sundy and I hd her 2 hours later :) So it ll depends on your body. i think. how your cervix is and the birth canal. All women are diferent!

No, you can't know ahead of time. I was in labour all day - then because my baby went into distress with too low of a heartbeat, I had to have an emergency c-section.

no you cant possibly know unless you have other medical complications I was in labor for 17 1/2hours b4 they decided i must have a c-section with my second pregnancy it was determined before hand that I must have c-section due to complications with first (i knew before I got pregnant if I had another this would be the case)
