Ultrasound isn't all that accurate at predicting weight. I wouldn't put too much stock in it.

No, that would probably be a good weight. But ultrasounds can't really say how much the baby weighs, it's only a guess when they tell you the weight based on that. My Dr. had me going in twice a week for non-stress tests because I was nearing 40 weeks and he said from looking at my ultrasound that my baby was too tiny and wasn't growing fast enough. But when she was born she weighed 6 1/2 pounds, which was fine.

It sounds about right but remember that the ultrsound is a best guess they can really be off by a pound or two either way. Go on about.com and go to pregnancy you can get the week by week scope of how a baby develops it's really pretty cool. Plus the lady Robin has some neat birth stories on there. Take care and Good Luck.

no your fine, in the third trimester the baby will put on an average of a quarter to a half pound per week. the babys weight is where its supposed to be. and remember, ultrasound machines are not 100 percent accurate at determining a baby's weight.

No
The growth rate varies a lot
He may gain a lot in one week and in the next he may stay stable. Ultrasounds also usually weighs them a little bit bigger than they normally are.
Nothing you can do at this stage, so relax and enjoy the last month of pregnancy.
