You do not receive an ultrasound until around your 5th month of pregnancy. After your initial urine HPT at home you should call
your Doctor. They will continue your care until you are at 7 months or until you deliver if they do that. If they don't they will send you to an OB for delivery.
The planned parenthood should be able to tell you which clinics are accepting new patients if you do not have a family Doctor.

First off, you asked where you go to confirm being pregnant,
All you need to do is take a home pregnancy test. If it says positive then your pregnant.
You will now need to find an OB/GYN to be your doctor during the pregnancy. The doctor will want to see you and he will also give you a pregnancy test to confirm it.
You can also talk to him about insurance and see what the cheapest insurance is if you don't have any.
You can go on line to see the OB/GYN that are in your area. Call different places and go and see them to check out which one you'll like the most.

I just went to our local Health Dept to confirm that I was pregnant. All they did was the pee test. I then made an appt w/ the doctor I wanted to us for the pregnancy & went to him when I was 12 weeks. He did an ultrasound that day.

Go to your local health department. If you don't have insurance usually the state offers medicaid to pregnant mothers. If you go to the health dept you will need to call and tell them you think you are pregnant. They will set you up with an appt. and give you a pregnancy test there this would be your proof of pregnancy. You would also be set up for the WIC program if your income meets the needs. This program pays for formula, and gives you while pregnant juice, milk, eggs, cheese.. It is a great program. The health dept can assist you with what else you would need to do from there. Usually you have to contact your local dept. of human services in order to get insurance for being pregnant that pays for the gynecologist etc...

he's probable nevertheless in wonder. Telling someone they could properly be a father is life-replacing, pretty if this is no longer planned. Confirming the being pregnant is to make particular your residing house try wasn't incorrect. they are going to also verify for a heartbeat and shop you coming decrease back until eventually they %. one up. this is not basic for the first trimester, because it truly is the finest time to miscarry, so follow each and every of the healthcare professional's orders.

Hello! when my sister was preg.she went early in the morning to a an obgyn who gave free pregnancy test to confirm then to the Medicaid office for a temporary Medicaid card . since she did it so early she was able to get back to the docs. office in time for an ultra sound. If you are unable to get Medicaid you can always go the er!!! they charge nothing for the visit just bill you later!!! if you know what I mean!! and then later if you come eligible for Medicaid they pay old bills from a yr. old i think.

Just go to a regular MD. They do a urine test, just like what you might do with a home pregnancy test. I know my visit, covered partially by my insurance was $20. Then you will have blood work to do, and you will need a good OBGYN (they should recommend one.)
Hopefully you have insurance, otherwise talk to a Medicaid rep. at your local Dept. of Health office. They will help you out, and tell you what drs. take Medicaid.

You typically wont get an ultrasound to confirm your pregnancy. I just went to my Gyno and they gave me a urine test which confirmed it. They werent an OB/Gyn so i found a new doctor and started with prenatal meds and such.
