the dads girlfriend uses a wood stove to heat with. Could this be causing him to get sick. The last 2 times he came home he had a fever and running nose, which always leads to chest congestion. Which lingers for days, he gets better then goes with his father and it starts all over again.
No one smokes around him so I know its not that. It just started happening when the weather got cooler and the dad
needed to keep his house warm. My son is in kindergarten
but this started right before school did.

I have a 5year old and a 2 year old, I think they are bueatiful and funny. Everyone I know says I should put them in television, even strangers. I don't know if it is to much pressure on them so young? Or if being cute and funny is enough?

some of her friends said that it was noticable. is it ok if i let her shave her legs? she's 10-1/2, I told her that she should ignore them and be confident of who she is. I am South indian and we do have too much hair...I really want to help her feel confindent but do you think it's ok if i show her how to shave her legs? my husband thinks she's too young.

my daughter is 4.5 months old. I started giving her rice cereal about a month ago, not much just about a teaspoon or so. About 2 weeks ago, we started oatmeal cereal. She now is eating almost half a cup! Is it too early to start fruits and veggies? I tried bananas yesterday, and she got more in her tummy then she does the cereal! She still is drinking her formula (had to switch to formula at 7 weeks as a supplement because I wasn't filling her up) I've been thru this before, but can't quite remember after 8 years .... lol

My daugher is 2 and she is VERY intellegent, knows 1-20 and 1-10 in spanish, colors, numbers , can identify numbers, is polite, loves to dance, just normal but on the other side she just seems very particular where everything has to be in order or nothing can go on, and if its not how it happened yesterday then we cant do it differently today, she is different every day, her moods.. She may want something today and not tomorrow. She counts everything and when she doesnt like something she just gets on the ground and just crys and wont move and if we try to touch her she screams and kicks , if we try to move away from her she screams, this morning we found food stuck in her mouth from last night that i had to PRY out of her mouth, she doesnt like other kids touching her, she doesnt like to share, should i be concerned. She truely is a " GOOD " child but she can change that in a hearbeat.. Any suggestions

I'm due to start my period tomorrow (I'm on a 28 day cycle, not a day less or a day more). I never get cramps or PMS until the day of and day after my period starts (It's ALWAYS been like that). Now here's how I feel: I've been very very tired lately, not wanting to wake up and just not feeling motivated during the day. Yesterday morning I had a slight cramp in my stomach, and afterwards went to the restroom and wiped (there was a little bit of spotting, pinkish with a little bit of CM) and that was it. Last night when I was taking a shower, I noticed that my nipples were a little bigger and hurt a little bit when the water from the shower hit it. I haven't noticed any swelling in my boobs (maybe because I am well endowed and can't tell). Then this morning, the same as yesterday. That's it. I know its not much, but this has never happened to me before.

My 6 week old is formula fed and all off a sudden she is spitting up alot more than usual. She isn't "throwing up" just alot of spit up. My mother-in-law says she is maybe becoming lactose intolerant?? I am not sure about that though. Is she maybe eating too much at one time? Am I not burping her good enough. This started on Sunday. But it is not with all bottles? Maybe it is just normal. Just seeing if anyone else is going through this or has gone through this. She does have a doctors appt scheduled pretty soon, so I will ask the doctor. I just wanted to her personal experiences first.

yesterday i was feeling funny i was starving all day and i would eat but then i would feel like vomitting i never vomitted but i just felt like i was going to and today i feel a litle dizzy but not hungry or nauses if i am pregnant im assuming i would be about three weeks is this to early to tell? i am going today to buy a home pregnancy test but if it comes out negative is that just because its too early to tell .

I found out that my hearing got worse and now i am at 55 db loss in left ear and right ear is borderline. I will be getting a hearing aid for my right ear.
I am checking in voc. rehab. if they will pay for my fm system.
How come my hearing keeps getting worse, i wondering will i end up deaf later on in life. I am 21 years old.
I was born with my deafness.

im 70 % effacted and dialated 3 cm.... im done im tired i can't move i can barely breath and i really want my angel baby girl..i have tried everything walking, resting, castor oil, pineapple, raw potatos, labor balm nothing..she is expected to be 8 lbs....how can i help labor along..they tried to strip my membranes and nothing happened...my pelvis feels like its going to fall out there is so much pain.... i cant wait any longer HELP!!!!!

My son is 3 years old. At home he is wonderful. From time to time he will test limits but for the most part he is great. However , at daycare and inchildrens church he is the total opposite. He is stubborn and uncooperative. The teachers say he is very defiant and oppositoinal and sometimes fights with the other kids. im not sure what to do but really need advice.
