my son is 14, and was curious so i bought him some pornography.

i guess he must have tried some of the things he saw in the video on his girlfriend, and as a result she was hurt pretty badly.

now her mother wants to talk to me about the situation... her mom is very attractive, but now she is upset with my parenting.

is it appropriate to punish my son for ruining a potential relationship with this woman?

I've heard it can feel kinda like digesting food. I felt that sensation near my right side. I've never felt food digesting that far over, it's usually in the middle. How do you know the difference. Could it have been my baby moving?

okay a girl that i have been friends with on and off for about 4 years now gave birth to her baby on september 27. yesterday (october 2) she went to the doctor for the babys first check up. there they discovered the baby has a broken collar bone. i dont talk to my friend that much b/c i dont like the way she handle herself while being preg. my cousin is dating my friends baby daddy thats how i found out. if the collar bone was broken during birth like my friend is saying shouldnt the doctors or nurses caught onto it before they were discharged from the hospital???????? and i went to visit them in the hospital and the baby was calm and quiet not fussy and crying like she was hurting. i have read some articles online about broken collar bones in infants and none of them describe how the baby was when i saw her. this baby was unplanned and i have reason to believe that my friend did something to hurt her baby. any advice on what i should do would be greatly appreciated.

I am 20 years old an expecting my first baby with my fiance. We've told everyone and they're so excited! We feel blessed. However, the baby wasn't planned. My mother was the only person who acted horribly. She called my whole family and told them how upset she was, how hurt she felt, and kept asking everyone why as she sobbed with tears. I didnt get to share the most wonderful news with anyone in my family because she did it for me. What's worse is that she's told me how EVERYONE is so dissapointed in me, and if im concerned, i should call them. Why, she's done the damage. I love my family, but now i feel like an outcast and she's made it that way. I'm studying to get my Bachelor's in Business Management, I work full time, I'm engaged to the baby's father, and i dont live at home. Why is she reacting this way? How do i speak to the rest of the family- i feel she's ruined things. How do i speak to my family knowing what shes already said and done. Shes made this about her- not my baby.

We are trying to ttc, and had sex during my fertile days (25-30th). Today after sex I am in a weird pain. Feels like my cervix and intestines are swollen. There isnt any bleeding, and i know that i am healthy b/c i was checked recently. Can vigorous sex disrupt implantation or what else could be the cause of such pain. It hurts to do anything but lye still. Has anyone had this or know what causes it?

I'm getting an ultrasound done this thursday, so I'll be 13 weeks and 3 days pregnant. I've heard that you can sometimes see a penis (if its a boy of course )this early...and what about seeing the "female parts" if its a girl? I was also wondering if my baby will probablly be moving around on the screen. Thanks =)

You and SD do many activities; go to films, shopping, sports, laugh, talk & bond. You assist SD nightly with homework/test prep. Husband works 90 hrs wkly & even when home doesn’t believe in doing activities with her other than watching TV. He says you’re “spoiling” the SD with your $$, energy & time. 4-5 months after she moves in you notice she acts disrespectfully but mostly to just YOU!. Examples: rude/aggressive demands 4 yr full attention even when yr listening to another adult, giving you silent treatment when reminded about a simple chores, telling you “shut up!” & many others You try everything, Nanny 911 tactics, parenting books, talking to her. You ask the father, he says: “There is nothing I can do! Handle it how you want and don’t bother me about it. And NO counseling ever!” That night U remind her it's time for bed. She says "NO WAY I'm not going to bed and keeps looking at TV" U say that she'll lose her tv time tommorrow. Her: "No I won't! Shut up!" Time to spank her?

If you cannot answer this without being rude, don't answer at all.

12 years ago, when my son was 8 years old, I got a call at work from the school principal. She said my son had been acting up and cursing at school. When I got there, the teacher told me everything that had happened. I ask him did he do it? He said yes. I told the teacher, Excuse me for a minute. She told me “If you whoop him, I’ll have to call the cops on you”. I said “That’ll be no problem. In fact, I’ll call the cops for you and tell them I whooped my child. When they get here, tell them I said if they think they can raise him better than I can, they can take him”. Needless to say, the call to the cops never happened but my child’s whooping did. My mother did the same thing to me, and I’ll admit I hated it, but I thanked her for it years later. She used to say “Where you act out at, you get your *** whooped at”. I never was a big fan of time out. The only rime out I took was a time out to take a belt to my son’s butt. How many of you spank your kids?

By the way, for those of you who think that my son might be emotionally scared, He’s fine and he told me “thank you, Mom” yesterday.

Once they can pay for their own? Or just lend them yours (the parents) when they go out? Or should they have their own for emergencies?

I worked at a middle school and just about every kid had a cellphone. I thought it was ridiculous, but then it got me thinking... so opinions please, or experiences.

I mean.. now a days people feel spanking your child is considered child abuse then why shouldn't your parents (for those whose parents whipped them) be on trial? Were not talking about beating them with with objects, or hitting them in other places. We are simply talking about whipping them when they have done something wrong.

I see so many people are against it now a days. Why? It worked in the past why does it not work for you now?
This question is not intended to offend anyone. I am just curious.

It's not a temper tantrum, it's real tears, like she is broken hearted. Over things like I gave her juice instead of milk, or I didn't hear what she said...HELP!

How do you handle pure defiance? I'm pretty sure he's rebelling because we just had another baby 5 weeks ago, but he won't listen to ANYTHING we say anymore. We're trying to keep him involved and continue to give him one on one time, but it's hard with his attitude. Any suggestions?

To be specific, how many days/weeks is it acceptable to continue to drink and/or smoke once your pregnant? I realize it is best to quit immediately but is it acceptable to continue for a month or two without risk to the baby? Thanks again, any advice or evidence to support claims is appreciated.

Is it true you can get simptoms when a friends is pregnant, and if so can being late, waeking up, and feeling sick in the middle of the night, and going pee 3 time in the middle of the night, and 3 time this morning when you have not had anything to drink since 10 last night a simpton of that.
