I've been married for about 1 year and 4 months to be exact. I've been to a ob-gyn. But until now nothings happen. I'm tired of taking fertiliy pills. Sometimes i gave up. I was wondered and afraid whats wrong with me? Everybody say a healthy couple conceives at least a year. We have sex almost everyday so i get pregnant but still nothing happens. I'm afraid that i can't conceive. Many also says that the more you expect the less to have it. No stress!!!! But i was really afraid that i can't never have a baby. Sometimes i fell pity. Why some people are given but they don't want it? It's so hard to get pregnant.

My four-month-old just started eatting solids. He has taken to bananas, sweet potatoes, and green sweet peas really well. I am really surprised because my daughter showed no interest in solids until she was five-months-old. Now the thing is, is that he is starting to refuse formula during the day and prefferring solids (at night he will still eat two, 5-6 oz bottles); is this enough formula.... Here is a typical day:

Breakfast - half-jar of bananas & 4 oz of milk.
Snack - 3 oz bottle
Lunch - half-jar of veggies (peas or yams) 3 oz bottle
Snack - 3 oz bottle
Dinner - half-jar of something from the day before (peas or yams or bananas) 3 oz bottle
Night feedings - two 5-6 oz bottle

Does this sound appropriate to you?

PS He refused to eat baby cereal even if I mix something into it. Do you think he will be okay without baby cereal right now?? Did your baby ever refuse cereal? My first child LOVED cereal.

I have two daughters ages 6 and 4.Everything is OK during day.I leave them at school and kindergarten, then go to work, then my 6-year-old comes at home alone. In the evening my neighbour takes the 4-year-old from kindergarten and when they cross the road,he leaves her go home. Then at 21:00 I come home and make a dinner. But my job is such, that I have to go sometimes at night and come back during next day. When I leave at nigh,I'm worrying for not telling "Goodbye" to my daughters(they sleep at the time) and leave them alone without telling them anything.Should I wake them up in the middle of the night to say "goodbye" or just leave them a note?

I'm sure this varies greatly per person, but I'm just curious how long until my cycle returns to normal. I'm still nursing my 11 mth daughter about 3-4 times a day; if I continue like this can I keep it off indefinitely? Also, if you have already weaned your child, can you tell me if you experienced mood swings as a result? I read that might happen once you stop breastfeeding out loud from my baby book and my husband said no worries, I couldn't be any moodier than I already am LOL. But seriously, did you feel different after stopping completely?

Our first daughter is due in November, and it would be nice to be (at least a bit) prepared. Some stuff we have already bought, I'm just wondering what we should actually include in the bag...

I am 12weeks and 3days pregnant now. It feels like I swallowed a grapefruit... I feel a hard round feeling inside me, inches below my belly button, just above my pelvic bone really... is this my uterus? Is it supposed to feel kinda of hard? I know I should be able to feel my uterus soon, according to all this I have been reading, and I only weigh 120 pounds, so I hear lighter women feel it easier... Thanks for the input!

I have a 3 month old boy and my relatives will not stop pressuring me to put together a xmas wishlist for him. Since this is my second child, I do not need clothes or any sort of baby item that I think I would need, and God knows I don't need more useless clutter and stupid toys. Does anyone have ideas of things I could put on a wishlist for him? Unfortunately, cash for his savings account is not an option. Keep in mind that he will only be 6 months at xmas time.

I saw a question on here about alternate birth control methods...
This really isnt a question...

Basal body temperature
The basal body temperature (BBT) is a person's at-rest temperature.

Natural cyclic changes in female hormones usually cause a woman's basal body temperature to decrease slightly just before an egg is released (ovulation) and then increase sharply 24 hours after ovulation. By carefully measuring BBT every morning before getting out of bed and recording it on a chart, many women are able to estimate when they are ovulating. This helps pinpoint when a woman is most and least likely to become pregnant.

The thermometer used for measuring the BBT is marked in tenths of a degree, making it possible to detect even small rises in temperature. When the temperature goes up—usually about 0.4ºF (0.2ºC) to 1.0ºF (0.6ºC)—and stays up for several days in a row, ovulation has occurred.

Keeping track of basal body temperature may be helpful for women trying to get pregnant or trying to avoid pregnancy. It is one of several fertility awareness or natural family planning methods of birth control.

Having sex during the 5 days before and the day of ovulation increases your chances of becoming pregnant.
Avoiding sex until several days after you have ovulated may help you prevent pregnancy, because the human egg is typically fertile for only 12 to 24 hours after ovulation.
Basal body temperature charting is done at home and is inexpensive. However, to get an accurate record, a woman needs to track her temperature every day for several months. Women who work varying shifts or who have irregular menstrual cycles may have difficulty getting a useful basal body temperature chart.

I am obsessing about the health and well being of my newborn baby girl. I'm a first time mother and I must admit I had a tough pregnancy and labour.

Other mothers in my mothers group seem to be holding it together. I've been pretending all is well but I worry about every germ and illness in the world and my baby contracting it. I don't even allow my family to hold my baby incase they have germs on their hands or that they may accidentally drop her.

I think I've gone mental with anxiety. I don't have the same symptoms for Post Natal Depression (I'm very happy and excited about being a mother). I'm anxious about everything and I'm scared.

Please other mums out there, help me. I'm not sure what to do. I'm frightened my Dr will put me on anti depressant drugs and my baby will consume it through the breastmilk. Otherwise my happiness and joy for this baby is overwhelming.
