My wife is half Irish, her father's family members are 99% red heads with green eyes and freckles, the whole works!

My wife takes after her mother in the look departments will brown hair and brown eyes. (Thank God)

I have brown hair and brown eyes too with no Irish blood. (I am French)

What are the chances our children will look like her Irish family?

Yeah, it sounds horrible, but we don't want our kids to be red heads AKA Gingers.

Should I maybe expect a little red head in our family?

Thanks!

After my first child I was precribed Marvelon birth control pills. 2 months after being on them and 3 months after my first child I discovered I was pregnant again. Now my second child is two months and i was prescribed with tri-cyclen. My husband and I don't want to get pregnant again right away and i just wondered what birth control has worked for others and if anyone has taken tri-cyclen.

I love my daughter and I love ebing a Mom, but lately I have been stressed and overwhelmed. I even don't want to be bothered sometimes and I want to just hand her to her Dad for a while ...a good while. I feel bad that I feel that way, is it normal? Wow, the stress and demand can be horrible and it pushes me - so much that I sometimes miss when it was just me alone.

My baby will only fall asleep if I let her nurse herself to sleep! Sometimes I wanna just rock her to sleep and I wouldn't mind being able to have a babysitter from time to time! But I can only have a babysitter for an hour or 2 at a time. She won't fall asleep without nursing - and she won't drink from a bottle. She's 8 months old...

I posted a question like:“4 people who think (only as a last resort) that spanking should be an option parents”. 80% of “answers” sounded childLESS ppl or those "give him time out & cuddle him b/c 4 spitting in gr&ma’s face since only did it b/c he needs more love" (vomits) parents. If yr first words to my question R "I think spanking is always wrong" Why R U answering it?! Do ppl really READ the questions here, why not ANSWER the ACTUAL question then at the END mention that U don’t advocate xyz thing? If the question isn't racist/anti-social/evil, etc why be a dick & try to make the asker feel guilty/like a bad person? Also why do people say to askers "Get counseling?" If most ppl here had situations where everyone in their conflict agreed to &/or could afford/had the time 4 professional therapy don’t U think they wld be there not here asking strangers 4 input? Finally, ppl who post a 700 page dissertations as an answer, please stop. post the gist, link the rest, 6 paragraphs tops!

I just found out im 4 weeks pregnant. The only symptom I have is my missed period last month. Im scared that there may be something wrong because I dont feel any different. Can being underweight ( im 5'3 and 95lbs) be the cause of not having any symptoms?

my oldest who is three is a perfect angel when her dad is home but the minute he leaves for work she turns into the devil incarnet. Is this just how it is with kids? I do all the same punishments that her father does but it means little to her when it comes from me. I was like this with my parents to when I was young. Should I just go with it and be like "I'm telling your father when he gets home". Then when her dad gets home from work inform him and let him handle it? She does listen to her dad more, I was curious if all girls are like this?
